Hi Minerva,
Hope you are having a great day in Hawaii ... I am so happy to have
found you at 530AM - bright and early yesterday... again, I can't say
it enough, how very pleased I am with you, your hard work on pleasing
us and the time spent on accomplishing what I hope to have be an AMAZING
ROMANTIC HONEYMOON!
We chose Hawaii
for our honeymoon because of its natural beauty and now I know that
the people there are just as beautiful, and we haven't even set foot
on the islands yet! It takes a special person to do what they like and
like what they do ... and you definitely are both. Please forward my
thoughts on to your boss if possible for me, they need to know how wonderful
you are Look forward to hearing from you again soon...
Thanks again -

| Aloha
Ms McCoy and Minerva!!
In response to your questions regarding our superb time in Hawaii is
difficult to answer. I've thought long and hard about the experiences
that Chris and I had on "Maui" and the "Big island"
but, I can't get the smile off our faces long enough to find something
that we didn't like.......hummm I'll try.
The arrangements that Minerva made could not be faulted in any way so,
scratch that thought. Even her idea about the fish place to try was
right on. Since this was our first trip with you and to Hawaii, we spent
most of our time in awe with our mouths open......."holy sh.. Chris
look at this" was the best that I could utter most of the time.
She could not say much with her mouth stuck open and eyes wide as the
moon.
But, if I were to get very nit picky.....got lost several times in the
Hapuna
Beach Prince...poorly marked signs inside and the major restaurants
were closed while we were there. Found out that we could have gone to
the other hotel next door but, didn't know that at the time. The room
and the service were unbelievable.....never been treated like that........well,
not since we left the Maui
Prince, that is. The rooms in both hotels were......were well, tearful
( that is.. tearful for us every time we look at the pictures of the
hotel room) I had to call for help with Chris when it came time to leave
them.....kicking and screaming in a straight jacket.....it was embarrassing!!!
Almost as bad as when I told her that she had to get out of the ocean
and off the beach to go home. I'm sure that she left scars on the wonderful
people who tried to help me to get her into the car. I'm sure that our
names are on a "blacklist" in the Kona airport.....they had
to hogtie her in her seat. She made sure that everyone less that a mile
from the airplane knew that she was NOT LEAVING HAWAII.....NOT NOW OR
EVER. "Take me back to my hotel room and leave me alone" has
been verbally engraved on the walls.
So, as you can see, the vacation that the two of you had arranged has
a good side and a bad side. We took a trip to PARADISE with a call,
or two, to Minerva and can find almost nothing to criticize.
On the plus side ; all the travel and hotel arrangements were perfect.
The hotel personnel were as nice and helpful as anyone could be....with
out failure. The rooms were glorious !!! Could not dream of better...the
views , the ocean waves breaking just yards away, the service, the ambiance
of the hotels and the grounds was just like a dream.
Aside from the things under your control ; the folks who live on the
two island were very open and friendly. We were never uncomfortable
with anyone or anyplace that we drove to. No looking over my shoulder
or hard types to watch carefully. (We come from the land of predators....Detroit).
The exception would be the "no guardrail" one lane roads through
the mountains. Don't drive on them in the rain or at night, Lynn. Scary
for most people and that includes my Christine. I missed a lot 'cause
I HAD to keep my eyes glued to the road. But, looking back, even that
was fun for me now that I can breathe again. The wild life that we encountered
everywhere was astounding.....birds EVERYWHERE, fish and whales were
there every time we looked, rain forest trees that dripped fragrant
flowers and warm warm air......what can I/we say??
WE will never be the same......THANKS.

Thank You, Thank You, Thank You! You did an excellent job! Everything
was perfect and more!
I will use your services next time I visit Hawaii. You are the best!
The best part of the trip was laying around at our resort (Kaanapali
Alii)! Every travel agent we contacted told us it was impossible
to book at Christmas. Several agents told me it was obscene to even
ask for rooms at Alii at Christmas. I saw your name while on the computer
and called and you booked me in about 3 minutes! I didn't believe it
until I arrived and went to the front desk. Everything was in order
and the friendliness of the staff was awesome! Thank You! Thank You!

Minerva!
It's good to hear from you. We had a terrific time. We loved the unit
you reserved for us alot. It was the ridge villa right next to bay course's
7th green. We sat outside to watch other golfers reach the green everyday
and I practiced on my short game when it was dark.
We appreciate everything
you've done for us. Thanks alot!

Minerva,
We had a great time in Fiji. Rosies Travel Agency was helpful in getting
us where we needed to go when we got there. When it was time to leave
they were right on time even though the boat was late. They took us
on tour of Nadi and then took us to our hotel room.
Tokoriki was beautiful as well as the people on the resort. It was fantastic.
When they say you leave as a friend, you truly feel as though you are
leaving your friends behind. We made many friends on the island. It
was a great experience.
Thank you for asking.

| Dear
Melissa,
I just want to express
again how happy I was with my travel arrangements to the big island
and Maui last year. Minerva
made my arrangements. Sometimes I travel alone and it's very important
to me that I not be penalized for traveling solo. Most travel these
days is offered in packages based on double occupancy and a fixed itinerary,
anything else comes with a ridiculous price tag and most agencies are
just annoyed with and sometimes rude to customers requesting anything
different. I will be sure to recommend you to my friends and you will
certainly have my business again. Thank you for your consideration and
specialty in custom travel.

Thank
you so much for all the wonderful support your agency provided. It started
with Minerva
answering the phone at an ungodly hour of the morning. She was able to
find us a plane flight and accommodations over Christmas and New Years
( a miracle). AWA was a very pleasant airline. I was impressed with the
flight.
We really enjoyed Lahaina
Shores. Both the mountain view (quiet) and ocean view (awesome) rooms
were great. The staff was very friendly, we walked each morning on the
beach, and it helped to be able to cook on several nights.
You did a great job planning activities. Ulalena was spectacular! I would
go again just for the drummers! Thank you, too, for handling the reimbursement
of the snorkel trip that didn't happen. I appreciated your prompt response.
The trip was wonderful and I will recommend your agency to anyone planning
a trip to the Islands.

Hello Minerva!
We went to Qamea
Resort in Fiji for our honeymoon and had a fabulous time. We stayed
in one of their brand new villas which have a plunge pool along with
other great amenities. We relaxed and did as many of the tour activites
as we wanted. You could be really busy or just relax in your hammock
and sip on mai tai's. The staff there was amazing, they really made
you feel like you were a part of their family. I would highly reccomend
Qamea.
Thank you!

Minerva,
The trip went very well.
The Otani in Honolulu was a pleasant surprise. Very good restaurant
and nice beach; park right outside the hotel was nice. It was a good
location for a brief stop. The Maui Kaanapali Villas were very nice
as well. Accomodations were large, beach nice, restaurant very good
and convenient on the beach. Not an all inclusive type of establishment,
but very good for the price. Easy access to Lahaina. Lahaina was a pleasant
surprise. Lots of activity and many good quality stores. The road to
Hana was fun and not as scarey as we imagined! A stop at Mama's Fish
house is a must, but do lunch since dinner is very expensive and during
the daylight hours, the view is terrific. My husband did the biking
down the volcano in the early am to see the sunrise. Most of the time
clouds obscured the view and leaving at 2am is a bear. Biking is for
the brave. The Sheraton in Kauai was our last stop. This was the most
exclusive resort of the three and very inclusive. Nice having breakfast
buffet included in pkg. as well as swimming floats, etc. We hit a very
rainy time (unusual for Sept) so we preferred the weather in Maui. Also
Kauai is very quiet. I missed the shopping in Lahaina. A trip to the
north to Princevlle for Sunday brunch was a highlight also Kee beach
was great. All in all, Maui was our preferred stop.
All the transfers went well. Thanks for your help.

- I want to thank you for helping us prepare and plan this trip. You did
a great job finding a product that met our requirement. We had no problem
with the flight not the hotel, though we would not return to the Hilton
Hawaian Village (too big, too crowded...not exactly "an exotic destination"),
and we had to request a change with the apartment as the one that was
for us hardly had an ocean view (but rather another hotel view). The guest
manager was helpful to help us find another apartment and agreed that
the view was certainly not "ocean"
Altogether, it was still great
Thanks!!!

| Minerva,
Yes, it
would have been nice to get together for a snack or drink, I guess I
just assumed that you were
very busy. Next time! I'm sure I'll be back. I really saw alot of both
the Big
Island and Maui,
I
must have put on 500-600 miles on the rental car on each island! The
northern loop of Maui was absolutely gorgeous! I drove it twice. I got
to do the road to Hana and the southern loop in an SUV with a friend
of mine who lives on Maui. Kamaole Sands was very nice. I wasn't quite
sure what "limited view" meant, but my condo overlooked the
grounds with mountains to the left and beach/lovely sunsets to the right.
The beach across the street was great, I would watch the sunset and
go for a swim almost every night. On the big island, the manta night
dive was a highlight. I had my own private manta show for the first
10-15 minutes of the dive! Three big mantas swooped around me, feeding.
It was cool, a must see if you're a scuba diver. I also drove the northern
loop, and the southern drive from Kona to Volcanoes, listening to my
favorite Hawaiian CD's and stopping at a few beaches. Volcano House
was lovely, rustic. I had a nice garden view. The Kilauea Iki trail
was great, down through the forest, through the caldera of the volcano
and up the other side. It was good to get going pretty early, there
was not another soul on the trail. The lava flows were awesome, another
"must-see." I had never seen lava up close like that, I guess
I was lucky to be there at the time when the lava flow was active again.
I stayed for sunset and it was a clear, breezy night with a full moon
over the ocean. The mountainside glowed red with the flowing lava and
it really was quite breathtaking. There were also petroglyph trails
on both islands that were well worth seeing. Diving on Maui just doesn't
get any better than with Ed Robinson's Diving Adventures out of Kihei.
The weather (winds, specifically) weren't too kind, so we were somewhat
limited as to what dive sites we could get to. The last time I was there
(December) we were able to get to more remote sites in the south. This
time, we went to Molokini mostly, but
were able to get over to Lanai to dive the cathedrals. I had done that
the last time I was on Maui, and it
was worth a return trip.
Anyway, once again, mahalo and aloha, everything was perfect!

Aloha
Minerva!
Thanks for your call while we were in Hawaii. I fully intended to contact
you back before we left, but we were pretty busy and time got away from
me. The trip was “just
what the doctor ordered.” Jenn and I had a great time. We could
both have stayed a LOT longer.
We loved the sunrise above
the clouds and bike ride down the mountain, snorkeling at Molokini and
Black Rock, the beautiful drive around the West Maui Mountains and to
Hana. We truly enjoyed the fresh fish and outdoor dining, as well as
the aquarium, arboretum and black sand beaches.
I was quite pleased with our location and really liked Lahaina
Shores. The weather was wonderful; our view was great. It was convenient
and we walked around town with ease. We enjoyed the shops and the slow
pace of the island culture.
You were terrific throughout the entire process of setting up the trip.
I particularly appreciated your friendliness, down-to-earth genuine,
honest approach, your sense of humor and the fact that we seemed to
connect on a one-to-one basis. I never felt like I was being ‘handled;’
it was more like I was making a new friend. I appreciate you Minerva,
and would definitely recommend you.
In summary: This trip will always be memorable for us. We truly enjoyed
ourselves and would definitely like to return for another visit someday.
Thanks so much for all your help in making it a great vacation!

,
We had the most incredible Thanksgiving in Kauaii!!! I am in love with
Hawaii. We did everything we wanted and met some wonderful people during
our stay. I can't thank you enough for making our "little surprise"
to our husbands such a smooth getaway. They have already surrendered
that they could never plan something as romantic and exciting as our
trip. My mom and I were giving the hang loose sign to each other over
and over. It really was a success! And to think my dad thought he was
going to San Antonio!!!

We would
like to let you know what a fantastic associate you have in Minerva.
From her first "Aloha" to her last "Mahalo Nui Loa",
she was so helpful and professional - to say nothing of her great sense
of humor. She arranged a wonderful holiday for us and made all of my
silly questions and special requests seem very natural.
We feel very fortunate to have had the opportunity to work with Minerva
and wanted you to know what a jewel you have in her!
