Bula Melissa and Vinaka, Vinaka,

I don't know where to begin to thank you for the recommendations and arrangements you made for us on our trip to Kadavu. You obviously listened very carefully to what I wanted and you know your terrain extraordinarily well. I am so appreciative, thankful, happy with your services that words fail to express the magnitude of that gratitude. We had a fabulous time!...in every way, with everything we did. You picked the PERFECT spot for us. My dreams were met and exceeded. Dive Kadavu was wonderful, the perfect place for us. I really liked Bob and Rena and had many long conversations with Rena. We met lovely people, both natives and fellow travelers and made some friends for life...both natives and travelers. I'm amazed.

It is very hard to tell you my one favorite part because to do so suggests that the others were not my favorite and they were. I will say that I was most touched by the kindness, hospitality and happiness of the Fijian peoples. We went to sleep listening to the waves break on the shore and woke to the laughter of the villagers on the beach. I was invited to go into the villages twice. Once to go to church services with Seru (the bartender) and once to go to the school. We will be sending some supplies to one of the schools from the states. I visited also the village you arranged for the Meke...I took gifts to them and 7 other people joined us in the Meke. We drank the Kava (I tried not to watch them make it :-) )...it rained during our visit so the villagers brought out all their umbrellas and escorted us back to the boat ... they waved to us as we left and I have a great picture that I will send to you from that for your website. The children ran along the beach pulling in the water little wooden boats that they had made. The dancing, singing and entire experience was fascinating and wonderful. You were so right that it was an experience that we should have.

Melissa, I truly love you for arranging this trip for us. I have recommended your agency to several people who hope to travel to Fiji in the future. Everyone wanted to know how we got to such a wonderful place and I give you ALL the credit...This was a life changing experience for me that I am indebted to you for. It is one of those experiences that you really can't describe completely...you just have to have the experience.

Of course the diving was superb, the coral reefs unimaginable...we swam with sharks, mantas, fish of various kinds. We snorkeled, kayaked in the middle of the south pacific, we hiked to a beautiful waterfall, we ate amazingly delicious food (Dion is the current chef and he is amazing), we sat outside every night except one (when it rained) and watched the sun go down, had a drink at the bar on the beach and played coconut horseshoes. There was another game we played with little nuts of some kind that I became the first and only person to get all nine nuts in the hole...even Bob couldn't beat me and he practices a lot...

We will go back. We will definitely use your services again. The only thing that I would do differently is not take the VIP lounge at the airport but rather take a day room at a hotel. The VIP lounge was lovely but we had such a long time between the island flight and the flight to the mainland and we were tired so having a day room would have worked nicely...we ended up getting one for a few hours so we could repack some of our luggage that we had left at the airport when we went to Kadavu and so we could take a nap. And, we went to the VIP lounge as well.

My heartfelt thanks to you. If I can ever, ever do anything for you on this coast please don't hesitate to ask. I will never be able to repay this benefit you added to our lives.

Sincerely,
C. Pierre
