Just wanted to write you a note to thank you for helping us plan our perfect honeymoon !  We just returned on Wednesday after spending the best week of our lives at the Maui Resort.  It was unbelievably beautiful and incredibly relaxing.   The service was fantastic, and we enjoyed dining at three of the fabulous restaurants at the resort.  You made it so easy for us, and after all the stress of wedding planning, it was just what the doctor ordered !  And thank you for the beautiful fruit basket delivered to us on our day of arrival, along with the lovely card.

We just returned home from our fabulous vacation in Maui! The two of us had the time of our lives and loved exploring the island and all its beauty. Mike's birthday surprise was an absolute hit. He was extremely surprised with the dinner. Both of us enjoyed the evening tremendously. Chef Traci was a joy and her food was outstanding! The atmosphere and the romantic setting of the beach made this one of the most memorable moments of our entire vacation. I would recommend this to anyone who is looking for a unique evening to spend with their special someone! The dinner exceeded all of my expectations! Chef Traci was very accommodating, professional and a load of fun! I would book a private dinner again in a heart beat!  Thank  you so much for organizing such a unforgettable evening for us!

We had a fine time in Belize.  We enjoyed both places we stayed. Both were comfortable and lovely places to stay. Probably 2 of the best in Belize. Our flights went smoothly and we were pleased that the plane on our way home from Houston to San Francisco had the comfortable seats in First class that recline and have lifts for the legs.

We had just enough time in both parts of Belize; 5 days of inland experience in the jungle and 7 days of ocean & beach on Ambergris Caye. The a la carte at both places worked for us (no meal plan and no excursions up front).  Although when we were staying at Chaa we did some excursions on our own that we enjoyed. (cave tubing & Mayan ruins). The land at Chaa, 340 acres was beautiful.  We hiked and biked and enjoyed the canoeing and butterfly farm.  Also, we were pleasantly surprised to find out our trip did include a visit to the Belize zoo on our way from Chaa Creek to Belize City, before our flight to Ambergris Caye. It's a wonderful zoo and we made friends w/ a baby leopard. ( We love cats)! Ambergris Caye was lovely and the stretch of white sandy beach was gorgeaus. The little town of San Pedro on Ambergris was cute and more bustling than we expected.  We had a lot of fun riding in the golf cart to get around. We also used the bicycles and enjoyed getting some exercise.  There are lots of good restaraunts in San Pedro too.

Two weeks away was perfect.  Thank you to Julie for planning another fun vacation for us. We celebrate 20 years of Marriage in August. Feb. 1988 we went to Tahiti & love it (how can you not!).  I think it's time we return.  We'll let you know when.

My husband, kids, and I had a wonderful time in Hawaii.  I have your cards saved for people.  My husband and two sons went snorkeling in the ocean and they said this was their favorite.  Julie set us up with some great activities.  My daughter and I loved the whale watching, we must have seen at least 20 whales and they were very active.  We loved going to Front Street at night, we ate at Bubba Gumps 3 times.  We also loved the beach off Kaanapali Parkway and the kids and my husband jumped off the black rocks.  We loved all of the rainbows, the ocean, the beaches, and restaurants. 

You all did a great job with our trip and we are definitely going back.

Thanks for the e-mail.  Beth and I had a fabulous time on Maui for our honeymoon.  Our first trip to Maui, we prefer the Kaanapali area and condo setting for any return trip(s).  For the honeymoon, Julie could not have planned a better itinerary for us and provided great information and service all around!!

We spent our first 5 days in Kaanapali and loved it.  My brother and his wife spent their honeymoon there a few years ago, so we had to try it.  The condo was beautiful and really provided the best setting for the first part of our honeymoon following all the busyness of the wedding, etc.  While there, Julie planned an evening at the Lahaina Luau, a whale watching tour, and a Molokini snorkel tour.  All were great experiences, although we won't be scheduling a whale watch on any return trip during that time of year.  It was really unnecessary as we saw whales all over during the other activities.  But no fault to Julie in that regard as the whale watch was a must for my wife as seeing whales was her #1 wish for our trip's activities!! :) 

Friday (3/21) was our transition day.  We took full advantage of the 11:00 check out time at the Ali'i and then packed our Jeep for the road trip to Wailea.  We decided to venture up Haleakala Crater at that time which became a great transition activity.

When we arrived at the Wailea Resort, we were instantly amazed at the change in scenery and taken aback at the service provided and what we had to look forward to over the next five days.  Although smaller than the Kaanapali Condo and a completely different look and feel, the suite was amazing and we really appreciated the gift basket sent by Julie!!  While in Wailea we REALLY relaxed and shopped for the most part while around the hotel.  Julie did plan one activity for us there ... a sunset cruise one evening.  It was a great experience, of course.  The whales were really active during that time of day and we saw a mom an baby whale breaching side-by-side for a while ... amazing!! 

On our last full day on the island, we took full advantage of the 12:00 check out time and even had a little time to relax at the pool.  After checking out and loading the Jeep, we headed for our last activity at the Wailea Spa ... the cocoon water tour for couples which was amazing (and amazingly expensive ;) and a great way to end our trip before heading to the airport.  Julie did the research on this activity and Beth and I were of course pleased with it! :)

Anyway, I probably shared more information than desired here but we had an amazing honeymoon and have Julie to thank for planning it.  C. & C. Brown (of Houston) referred us to McCoy Travel.  They went to Tahiti/Bora Bora for their honeymoon.  We considered that destination but were really pleased with Maui as our choice and having a couple extra days there.  To reiterate, Julie was amazing throughout the planning process and we couldn't be happier with our overall experience with McCoy Travel and will certainly recommend both to our friends and family.

I wanted to thank you for all your work on what proved to be a fantastic Maui vacation!   Thanks too for the welcome basket and for our birthday treats.  What nice surprises!

We had wonderful time, and the Maui Resort was as elegant and welcoming as always. There is a yoga teacher there with whom I did classes daily, and they have improved the workout facilities quite a bit as well.  The first week was quiet and lovely, and the second week a bit more hectic with the arrival of the Spring break families.

We celebrated J.'s birthday at Mama's and mine at Gerard's - both awesome meals and evenings.  Lots of beach time, whale watching and snorkeling of course.

The travel was as easy as I ever could have imagined with no glitches anywhere! 

And, I've started to study Hawaiian! 

These wonderful times in Maui make me want to come back soon, so maybe we'll be in touch again!

I won't write much because there is not a lot say, but the service and results I received were better than I could have possible imagined.  The service person I talked to on the phone was extremely helpful when I arrived and the dinner on the beach was more perfect and without flaws than I could have possible imagined.  I want to give a special thanks to Kenny our chef, and if you could pass along my thanks because he took some amazing pictures of my proposal, and cooked an awesome meal, while providing excellent service.  Thanks so much for the service at a reasonable price it is something that my fiancee and I will never forget, and I will recommend it to anyone who goes to the island.

Martha and I had a great time on Maui!  Our lodging was great and the Maui Luau was outstanding.  I have attached some pictures for you.  The manager at the Maui resort could not have been nicer and were most accommodating.  They explained the 2 1/2 star rating occurs because they don’t have elevators, etc.  I can tell you the rooms were great and the staff was awesome.  Best of all they are right on one of best beaches we visited.  One of the VIP events for us was your staff (Julie and Vanessa) showing up at the airport to meet us.  I must tell you the other passengers were all looking as we got leid.  I am glad we finally got to the Seven Pools but the “Road to Hana” was an experience!  Next time we will fly…..

In retrospect we might next time want to spend a night or two on Molokai to see the “old & less crowded lifestyle” of the Islands. 

You and your staff, Julie and Vanessa made our trip.  I know from owning a customer service business that things can go wrong, despite best efforts.  The way you handled things leaves me no doubt that our next Island adventure will include McCoy Travel Agency!  MAHALO!

We loved both Waikiki and Maui. 
In terms of travel arrangements the pluses were the room at the Waikiki Resort - we had a nice view of the beach and Diamond Head.  The dedicated line at the Hertz counter at the airport on Maui was nice - the regular line was very long. Vanessa and Julie are both very courteous, knowledgeable and professional. 
We will be going back soon.

Sorry not to write to you sooner.  We've been busy catching up on things since we left the Big Island.  We just wanted to let you know we had a fantastic time from start to finish. We've loved Hilo. Our room faced the bay and we were on the top floor.  Great view!  One day at the Volcano House was perfect and we hiked at the Park for 2 days. We loved the Hapuna Resort...the food and ambience were exquisite.  We did snorkeling near Hilo, at Cooks Bay, and at Hapuna Beach.  We visited a coffee plantation and did lots of hikes.  Our entire vacation was wonderful !   We thank you for the great job you did for us!!  We had dinner at Canoe House twice.  One evening we sat near Lisa Marie Presley and her family.
  
Thanks again for putting together a memorable vacation for us.  We're already looking forward to our next trip to Hawaii  (and to see you in Maui).

Boy, do you have the life......I am reading your testimonial of Fiji in a Public school in the Bronx, NYC.  I must admit the weather here is fantastic for January..I am taking a half day to go golfing. We took one of your trips to the Kauai resort last year, left the night before the dam burst. We did have 2 wonderful clear days but the Princeville was spectacular.  My friend and I booked a trip to Australia, Fiji, New Zealand and Tahiti way back in 1973 after I got out of the Army but the trip never materialized due to a car accident..maybe we weren't meant to go then, but now you have me thinking of that trip again.

Overall, everything was great!  We had a very memorable honeymoon in paradise, and will cherish the time we spent there for the rest of our married life.  Thanks for helping us have such a nice time.

The room was big and had a great bathroom.  The beach was really a treat!  The beach was very private and had all the amenities that anyone would need.  Also we really enjoyed the breakfast buffet at the hotel and the fact that there were very few kids.  The snorkeling on Maui was GREAT.  I would highly recommend the underwater preserve located just a few miles south of the Maui Prince.  We went snorkeling every day, and hit every snorkeling spot on our side of the island.  If you like to snorkel that would be the place to go, especially after the swells shift (October) because the water was calm almost all day long.  Finally, as you probably know the Old Lahaina Luau was amazing, well worth the drive.   

We were pleasantly surprised with the location and how modern our hotel (Resort Quest Waikiki Beach Hotel) in Oahu seemed.  The room was small, but we had a balcony with a view of the sunset. The bed (pillow and sheets) was really comfortable and there was a flat screen TV!  The location of the hotel was also perfect, right across the street from the beach. Our Pearl Harbor tour was very informative and fun.  It got us out of Waikiki and we got to see a lot of stuff that we would have otherwise missed.

Hawaiian Airlines was great and got us and all our stuff on our flight home

Thanks for everything.  The trip was great.  We will look you up next time we travel.

We had a very enjoyable time in Hawaii thanks to Julie's able assistance.  All of the inter-island flights went well and were fortunately unaffected by the security issues that cropped while we were in HI.  We should have stayed two days on the Kona coast in Hawaii and one day in Hilo.  In Maui we opted for one Luau and cancelled Lele and others, since we didn't need the "show" aspect.  The scenery everywhere was spectacular and learning what we did of the exploration and exploitation of Hawaii was very interesting.

Our Trip was Superb! I really appreciate you getting us the royal treatment at the condo. If the bed had been bigger we definitely would have stayed in the lovely, newly remodeled corner unit. As it is the unit we ended up with was just fine - a bit older looking but if we hadn't seen the first unit we wouldn't have known :-) We'd definitely go back to Papakea.

It's been a little over a week since we left paradise and I miss Maui already. I am so thankful for all of your hard work. After the initial hiccups, you were right...everything flowed FABULOUSLY! From the blue water rafting to the hiking to the helicopter ride, it was all great.
Donald is still raving about his birthday. He was impressed from the moment we entered the Maui Prince. It was absolutely BEAUTIFUL! I loved the seclusion. We've decided that no matter what island we visit...the Maui Prince is the place for the accommodations. The single issue - since this 'gift' to him was so great, it's going to be hard to top! Birthday Surprise trip to Maui

Aloha Julie!
We had a fabulous trip despite the rain. Loved the Kea Lani. Never got tired of the water slide! and the kids get some good water basketball games going that Austin was able to play, he enjoyed that.
Our favorite part of the trip was you! We also liked the waterfall hike and the zip line. Weren't particular fans of the heli ride but the luau was great. Austin did end up surfing one day and it was one of our favorite things, so glad you mentioned that. He even surfed backwards!
I will definitely tell my friends and spread the word.
Thank you so much for all your help. We made some memories of a lifetime.

Fabulous Fiji Getaway

BULA BULA Julie,
We're back from friendly friendly Fiji!!! We had a wonderful time. Vinaka for planning our trip. It's always fun working with you. I'd like to give you some information and feedback on a few things.
The Hideaway was comfortable and our room...the deluxe beachfront bure was large and quite comfy. It's a well appointed resort for a 3 star with many activities run by the staff including cabaret shows that were quite funny. We visited the Outrigger and had lunch there. It seemed like a nice place too.

We rented a car and drove around and had a ball. Waterfalls, villages, boat ride on the Navua river. There was plenty to do or not do and we liked that. Also, snorkeling right outside our room (almost). Ken dove on all three Islands.
At Mana Island Resort, our upstairs/downstairs villa was spacious and comfortable. Mana has some newer bures that we looked at and they are quite lovely. We went on the Seaspray to the Island where they filmed Castaway and snorkeled and that was a fun day.
We LOVED LOVED TAVEUNI !!!! We'd go back there in a flash !! THE TAVEUNI ISLAND RESORT WAS INCREDIBLE !!!! I'm so spoiled. I love 5 star places. We had the entire resort to ourselves the first night and the next three nights we shared it with one other lovely couple from England and the last night also with a couple from Canada. Our deluxe ocean front bure was the BEST!!! THE MOST PRIVATE!!! I was a little sick when I got there. And I just fell alseep on the covered deck on a chaise lounge listening to the lull of the ocean and healed !! It was soooo quiet and peaceful !!! And the island itself is a gem. We rented a car one day and explored. Went to a waterfall and walked on the well kept coastal trail. The staff and food was incredible at the resort so we never ate anywhere else since the meals were included. So we did see the pizza place but didn't eat there.
You were so right the Fijians are so friendly. It was a delight.
Our last night at Tanoa was good. A very nice hotel and we did go shopping in Nadi and that was fun!!
You did a great job planning our trip. Tuning into what we needed and wanted.

Hey young lady! You did a good job setting us up at the Sheraton Kauai Resort. It definately had the best beach!
I was impressed with the girls at the car rental coming out to give us our keys asap!! Very cool.
Next time we are going to include Lei greetings. That would take the trip up a notch. It's amazing!
We'd love a list of restaurant pricing - $-$$$. I know that's a stretch....but think of how great that would be for budgeting for young couples!!
Also...a suggested plan for activites....I know you offered...but you might just send a week's calendar with ideas for how to spend a 6 day stretch..that would reflect your knowledge of the weather, sites, etc.
Also, make it mandatory that we all buy that book "Ultimate Guide Book" to Kauai....before we came. That had awesome information about tours, shave ice, activities, etc.
Otherwise...it was really great!!! I like the breakfast thing!!! That is crucial!! Na Pali Coast was suffacatingly incredible!!! Unbelieveable!!

Ken and I want to Thank You (& all the people at McCoy Travel) that assisted us with our vacation in magnificent Lanai, Hawaii. I wanted to let you know what a wonderful trip we had!! The Maui Prince was great- we loved how quiet and secluded it was. The private beach was wonderful!!! I am so glad we decided to the extra night- it would not have been long enough with our original plan! The bike ride was amazing-a little scary at first but what an amazing thing to do. As my 12-year old daughter said "Julie is the Bomb-diggity!" In junior-high terms, this means you are better than the "bomb"...which means you are the ultimate! Once she explained her vocabulary, the entire family AGREED!
We had an absolutely wonderful time in Hawaii. Thanks to your help in coordinating our activity plans and accommodations, we were very comfortable, found it easy to go from activity to activity, and stayed within our budget. You understood our needs, guided us make the 'right' decisions, and made it a trip we will remember for a life time.
Every time we travel long distances, to new places, there are things that come up in the plans that need to be modified based on various unforeseen circumstances. As this happened you handled EVERYTHING for us, made it so easy and comfortable...I did not have to worry about anything, I knew you had us "covered", like we were family. The breakfast buffet you added to our trip was actually one of the highlights for the kids (and us)...gummy bears and M&M's...they had EVERYTHING for breakfast!
Next trip, I will be calling you.

Thank you so much for your concerns. Our trip was GREAT and The Tamarindo Resort in Mexico is definitely the place to go for a deluxe couples vacation. The service was great and the staff was most courteous. They are currently building 60 more villas and they will be installing TV's in the next 2 to 3 months and also high speed internet service.
Wow! I can't believe it took 22 yrs to go on my honeymoon!

What an awesome trip. Bora Bora was the best. Bloody Mary’s and Top Dive were a lot of fun and the over water bungalow made it the perfect anniversary!!!!
Moorea was fun also but Bora Bora was the tops!!!! We swam with the manta rays and watched the shark feeding. The pool at the Moorea resort was a great place to drink Mai Tai’s and just hang out. Bought my wife gorgeous pearls at Ron Hall’s on Moorea.
I cannot thank you enough for the trip of a lifetime!!!!
