Hi Hiapo: Well we have been back from our 3 week Fiji/Hawaii trip since December 4th...and I am just now getting some extra time to write to you! Qamea was perfect! We just loved it! The honeymoon bure was everything we imagined it would be and more! We enjoyed the laid back quiet charm. The sound of the surf at night was a great relaxing sound to sleep to and wake up to each morning. The weather was perfect! The scuba diving was out of this world! The soft corals were outstanding as was the sea life! Snorkeling was also great right off the beach! The people were the sweetest and most genuine people we have ever encountered on any of our trips! The food was also excellent! Too bad it is so expensive...we would love to go back someday! Even though it was probably the most we have spent on a week long visit...it was still worth every cent! So what's a little extra debt?! Hawaii is of course our favorite destination...it never fails to impress! The Big Island was great and Kauai is still one of the most beautiful places on this planet! We hope to live there someday! Anyway...I just wanted to tell you how great our trip was. I am already dying to go again! Thank you for all your help on the planning of the trip and helping us to choose Qamea! Fiji was fantastic! Thanks Hiapo, K. & C. Tom |

Hi, I'm replying
to the email regarding me and my new wife's experience on
our nine day honeymoon to Fiji. Well one word to some up
the whole trip is "Awesome". It was the best trip ever, everything
was perfect. The Fiji people are great and so are their
services. Beqa
Island was my favorite place in the world. No cars or
roads was so peaceful. The food everyday, breakfast, lunch
and dinner was delicious. Even my wife who is a very picky eater
was trying everything and really liking it. The villages we visited
were eye opening as to what we have in America, but the people
were just so happy. McCoy Travel was everything I could ask
for in a travel agency. Lori
knew everything about Fiji. |

Also, we did receive our package in the mail so we are all set. Thanks so much for all of your help. My wife and I really appreciate good service and we'll be sure to recommend you to our friends. Hi Lori. I haven’t spoken with you in a while and still haven’t had a chance to catch up regarding mine and Jimmy’s trip to Fiji (Maravu Resort and Plantation) until now. I can’t believe that it has already been 6 months since we were there. I usually don’t like to go to the same places that I’ve been before, but my husband and I will definitely go back to Fiji some day. The people were very kind and good-hearted. We stayed very busy while we were there, trying to soak up all that the resort had to offer. We went to Honeymoon Island and that was cool because as you know, they drop you off on a remote island by yourselves. We went on a snorkeling trip with a big group of people and even though it was rainy that day, everyone enjoyed it, along with the picnic on the beach, under the tarps that they threw up to keep us dry as we ate. We even spotted dolphin swimming in the area. We saw blue starfish, which we didn’t even know existed! How amazing to see the many creatures that God has created. We did some hand line fishing, which was different and fun. We went out in the kayaks and spotted some sea snakes in the water, which we were told to stay away from because they are poisonous. We went to the waterslide…the natural slide with big boulder rocks and water running right down the middle. That was very neat. We also went on a hike up a steep mountain, within the lush rainforest-like surroundings, where the Falls is located. I learned exactly how out of shape I am! I almost died. We did the horseback riding and mountain bike riding. My big souvenir was a black pearl in which I’m very proud. We went to a church service and although it was in a foreign language, I could kinda follow along because I used to be a Catholic. The food was to die for! Very impressed. A lot of little extras that we enjoyed too were the welcome drink, the going away serenade and cake, etc., etc. I can’t say enough about the resort. I just want to thank you again Lori, for all of the help that you provided to me, while I planned our trip of a lifetime for about a year. I just met someone who has always wanted to go and said that she will now that she has seen our pictures. Her name is Melissa S, so hopefully you’ll be hearing from her sometime in the near future. So that you can see some of our pictures, I’ll send them via Kodak Share Gallery, so you can see how much fun we had. Thanks again for all of your help. I look forward to working with you, when we get ready for another big trip! Sincerely, A. & J. Bleckley |

Hi Melissa! Lori
was our travel agent and she was wonderful. We had an amazing
trip and would love to visit again. We were specifically looking
for a place to take our 2 1/2 year old son (who we never leave with
anyone but family) and we heard the Fijians were very good with little
ones. Well I must say, the childcare far exceeded our expectations.
Surprisingly, the individual nannies at two of the three resorts we
stayed at were the best (Beqa
Lagoon and Garden
Island Resort). The individual attention and willingness
to meet his every need was exactly what we were looking for, especially
in a strange place with unfamiliar people. At first I thought
we would only be able to leave him in childcare at Cousteau but it
turned out that every person we meet in Fiji treated him like gold.
I think that was one of the best parts of the trip, only because while
we were gone all day & some evenings we knew he was having a great
time too. It made our outings very stress-free. |

Aloha Melissa and Hiapo, We have been meaning to write and tell you that we really enjoyed our recent trip to Fiji.
Our favorite food was called “Frangipani Pie”, which was an incredible pineapple meringue pie at Matangi. Overall, we liked the food better at Matangi. We also liked the outdoor shower there better since it is open to the sky and not covered (important to us for the “outdoor” ambiance). We got to attend a wedding at each resort.
We’ll give you a call when the wanderlust craving starts kicking in again. A couple of photos are attached. Thanks so much for helping us get this trip together - at the almost last minute. We wanted a quiet time at nice places with incredible snorkeling and that’s what we got. It wouldn’t have happened without your help! K. & J. Cooper |

Lori - Matamanoa was very nice even though we lost a night there. The manager was really nice about it as you will see on the letter from her. Again the bure was very nice (better than Navini) very spacious and clean. A great beach, again with great snorkeling. The staff was fun. More things to do and alot of activities, a nice pool with a nice bar. The food was very good and you could eat from 7-10 with activities after dinner. That night lost was missed because we liked it here. 4 star rating. The helicoptor ride was fun. what a way to see other islands. I highly recommend that over a boat. We got a little nervous about Qamea because at Navini and Matamanoa, workers at both places said "say goodbye to the sun, it always rains there in the north islands". (We never saw a cloud in the south) It did. The first 2 days was steady rain and then it rained everyday in short spurts but we did get a little sun on and off for 3. The resort however was fabulous. Food was gourmet. The staff was great, paying attention to every detail. Can't say enough about our Premium bure. Again excellent snorkeling. The trip to private beaches would of been better if the weather was better. It was fun though, having your little beach by yourself. No one around. What makes this place is the service, food and the bure. I'll rate the resort as a 5+ one of the best I have stayed at. Overall i would rate it as a 4 because of the beach and weather. I did see other reviews of other couples having weather issues there. Overall, we would go back at sometime to any of our stays. They were all nice in different ways. Thanks, |

Mark,WOW what a great Honeymoon. This resort (Qamea Resort & Spa) was awesome! The staff was very friendly and I was impressed how all the staff new all the guests names. The snorkeling was great! as was the diving. We went on several tours and they were wonderful. The food was great!! and lots to choose from. We also had dinner on the beach and went to our own private beach...that was really neat, like being on survivor, kinda. The Rosies staff was a great comfort knowing we had someone to contact and we loved the VIP lounge for the flight home. Thanks
for all your help, and everything you did for us. We can't wait to go

Hey Melissa/Lori, We're back from the beach! Hawaii was so increadable! Everything was so perfect and stress free. Our condo just felt like home - and the Hilton was so surreal and unbelievable. The kids were perfectly comfortable in the smaller car as apposed to a mini van, I'm glad we got the small car, it worked out great for quick trips and easy parking. First of all, Mike in your office was terrific. We heard all kinds of horror stories from other travelers about their experiences getting to Fiji - and all of our travels went great. Taveuni Island Resort was absolutley beautiful. The accomodations were fantastic, the location wonderful and Tomasi (bartender, resident comedian and all round super guy) made our stay. It was the most relaxing stay we probably have ever had.!!! We took a few day trips while on the island and found the local people, especially the children, to be extremely friendly and the island itself is beautiful. After Taveuni, we spent 3 1/2 days at the Sonaisali Resort. It was difficult adjusting to a large resort atmosphere after being at Taveuni Island Resort. The all day Catamaran snorkel trip we took from the resort was the best we have ever been on. We went out to reefs with our boat being the only one out there (with only 8 people on board - so no 30-40 people hitting the water at the same time) When you got in the water, the tropical fish were so abundant, varied and beautiful -like we had never seen before. Then on the way back, the crew brought us to this area where dolphins swam with the boat; jumping and playing right next to us. There were probably 25-30 dolphins and this just capped off the perfect day on the water!! Debbie and I are planning on making a trip out to Hawaii in April or May, so we will be in touch! Thanks once again for Mike's diligent service and we look forward to working with your company again. M. Furgal |

Hello Hiapo, I wanted to say our trip (Honeymoon and one year anniversary) was simply magnificent. I owe it all to you. You hooked us up with an affordable (for a school teacher) trip of a lifetime. The hotels, service, tours and flights were wonderful. Thank you for taking so much time in supporting my questions and concerns. You truly did a wonderful job and I thank you again and again and again. I know in the future to contact for any exotic trips. What other areas to you specialize in? I will keep you in mind for our next journey. Thank you and feel free to use me as a reference. Happy Thanksgiving and thanks again. Sincerely C. Quiroz-McAuliffe |

| Mark, Sorry for the delay in getting back with you... The trip to Fiji and Namale was everything we had hoped for. The Bure was beyond our expectations with respect to the view and accommodations. The staff was extremely friendly and eager to assist in making our experience enjoyable. Traci and I have commented that we miss the staff about as much if not more than as we miss Namale itself. We have already started making plans to return for an anniversary, but that will be several years down the road, unfortunately. As far as my experience with McCoy Travel and yourself, it was very satisfying. While at Namale, we met a fellow co-worker of yours, but alas her name escapes me know... I want to say Melissa, but I know I'm wrong about that. I passed on to her my pleasure at dealing with you and how everything fell into place quite nicely. I will gladly pass your name along to anybody looking for a travel agent services, especially if they are looking for something in the South Pacific... I want to thank everyone at McCoy for recommending and planning the honeymoon at Namale for my wife and me. The location was beautiful and the people working at the resort were extremely accommodating and cordial. In fact, I exchanged email addresses with a couple of the members on the staff. The highlight of the trip was the sights and wildlife we were able to view while scuba diving. All in all, the trip was wonderful. J. Wiley |

Dear Mimi, We arrived at Kahului Airport after a very long flight. Let future customers know that they are now charging for meals on long flights. No one ever has the nicest thing to say about airline food, anyway, so we opted to eat after we landed. It was the suggestion my friend, Christine, (that used your help to get to Maui only a couple of weeks before us) to have one person get the baggage while another goes to get the rental car. I was the only one on the shuttle, and the only person in line at the rental car counter. When I drove out to pick up Devin, the shuttles coming in were full of people. Thank you for your phone message to check on us. That was very considerate of you. We were very impressed with the condo (Kamaole Sands). I think it was much bigger than we needed, but given the reason for the trip, it definitely fit our wants. We were so impressed, that we made a video the next morning and put it on the web to share with our friends back home. I just watched it, and can hear why people mentioned I didn't sound excited. It must have been the morning or something, because I really loved the place and especially outside of the condo. In fact, if we just crossed the street, we could swim in the ocean. There's something about how easy it was to go swim in the Pacific Ocean that was a nice touch. There was a washer and dryer with complimentary detergent and the kitchen was big enough to give us the option to eat in. There was a Safeway that was close and that came in very handy. And it was very near to the location that we chose for the wedding; only 15 minutes away. After the wedding, we had a fantastic ride in our limo. The driver was so courteous and treated us special. He made sure we had water to drink, allowed us our privacy in the car, and let me stay in the limo while Devin went in to the rental agency to get our car. We loved our Ford Mustang, and had a laugh that *everyone* rented a Ford Mustang convertible. We met up with our friends at Mama's Fish House, as you suggested. My goodness, it was so beautiful. It was the perfect picture of paradise. Everyone enjoyed the food, but no one appreciated it more than our friend, Jason, who is a gourmet chef. He was so impressed and passed his compliments to the chef. They let us keep the menus that they print out daily.
We were so tired that we went right to sleep and when I woke up, Devin had found the nearby grocery store and was making dinner in the kitchen. Again, we had the easy option to stay in like a couple of honeymooners. Oh, and the beach. I could never say enough about the beach. The cove and the beach were just a walk away. We had fantastic snorkeling experiences. I rented snorkeling gear in Lahaina and after just a short swim, we saw the most beautiful fish and lots of turtles. In fact, we had better snorkeling by the condo than on the trip we paid to go snorkeling on! There is a great restaurant that a coworker could
not stop talking

- The room was big and had a great bathroom. The beach was really a treat! The beach was very private and had all the amenities that anyone would need. Also we really enjoyed the breakfast buffet at the hotel and the fact that there were very few kids. The snorkeling on Maui was GREAT. I would highly recommend the underwater preserve located just a few miles south of the Maui Prince. We went snorkeling every day, and hit every snorkeling spot on our side of the island. If you like to snorkel that would be the place to go, especially after the swells shift (October) because the water was calm almost all day long. Finally, as you probably know the Old Lahaina Luau was amazing, well worth the drive. We were pleasantly surprised with the location and how modern our hotel (Resort Quest Waikiki Beach Hotel) in Oahu seemed. The room was small, but we had a balcony with a view of the sunset. The bed (pillow and sheets) was really comfortable and there was a flat screen TV! The location of the hotel was also perfect, right across the street from the beach. Our Pearl Harbor tour was very informative and fun. It got us out of Waikiki and we got to see a lot of stuff that we would have otherwise missed. Hawaiian Airlines was great and got us and all our stuff on our flight home Thanks for everything. The trip was great. We will look you up next time we travel. D. and B. Forde |

Bula Bula Mike, Even though it’s been a month since our wonderful trip to Vomo Island Resort, it’s still the topic of conversation. Thank you for recommending Vomo Island. My wife and I really bonded with the locals. We became part of the family drinking Kava up in the staff quarters a couple times. We had a great trip! ….no schedules, no TV, no phones…..just what we needed. The only thing I’d like to set up if we make a return trip is to spend the last day on the island versus going to Nadi Airport and having the room in the hotel. We didn’t care much for the hotel and would have much rather spent more time at the resort, then flown to Nadi Airport and stayed there until our flight home. Thanks again for the suggestions and making the arrangements. We especially appreciated having a beach-front villa by itself without another one attached to it. Vinaka vaka levu, |

Melissa - By far the best part of the trip were the Fijian people. At the Taveuni Island Resort, the Fjian staff were always warm, kind and happy. Please let people know that there is "life outside the resort". Many guests thought there wasn't much to see or that there wasn't any shopping in the villages - not the case at all. The richest experiences were outside the resort. Air Pacific was great, no complaints. Flight attendants hung up my wedding dress up front with a smile, very accomodating.
Bula, Sue!
Anyway, we'll be in touch soon to book the
Hawaii ticket. I'd be happy to diccuss anything further with you. Thanks
for your email and again, thank you for guiding us to Taveuni Island-
we fell in love with the Fijian people and the island. |

We had a wonderful vacation! Maui beautiful as was last time.

lawn area and ocean. We had the best room! I thank you
so very much for your hard work for our vacation. Just to let
you know we are planning a family vacation for next year and I need
your help! There are 4 families involved I think. We want
to go to Tahiti next year. Not sure of the dates yet.
Looking at 12 people. (one under 2) so 11. Just wanted
to give you a heads up! :-)
Hi Melissa, Thank you for asking about our trip.
We had a wonderful time, not long enough, of course. Michael
set up the most wonderful vacation and didn't leave out any details.
We were up graded to a mini-suite in Oahu and invited to the Royal
Hawaiian's Manager's cocktail party. Perfect in every way.
Down to golf on both islands. I'm asking Michael to help with
a family vacation for next year already. Again Thank you for
your services. |

Melissa, Thanks for the reminder to rave about our honeymoon to Fiji! Mike set everything up perfectly – flights were fine (the LAX-Fiji flight was half empty, so there was plenty of room to spread out); connections and transfers were seamless; and we were very pleased with Crusoe’s Retreat and Matamanoa, and the diving at each. Our accommodations at each place were great (although we weren’t in one, the newly renovated bures at Matamanoa are gorgeous.) Maggie, the GM at Crusoe’s, passes along her fond hello’s to him. Oh, and it was a minor thing, but we loved having access to the Captain’s Lounge on the cruise to/from Matamanoa. As for diving, the new dive masters/instructors – Vili and Debbie -- at Matamanoa were really great; personable, knowledgeable, and their operation seemed well run. Don @ Crusoe’s was nice too, but we had a couple dives that led us to question his safety judgment. On our second dive there, both of us ran out of air on a deep dive in part thanks to an unexpected (not in the briefing) swim against current – I got down to only 10 bar before I was buddied up with another diver, who luckily had enough air left to share that we could get through our safety stop. However, we dove a couple times with Don’s assistant, Seta, and those were our favorites of the trip, so overall, it was kind of a mixed bag. Anyways, we appreciated Mike’s great itinerary that met our budget, and accommodations and sights that exceeded our expectations. Although Fiji probably isn’t in our travel plans for quite awhile again, we’ll definitely keep McCoy Travel in mind for future trips (I’ve always wanted to go to Belize!) Thanks very much, L. Bula Robin, I can't believe it's over :-( We had such a great time. Everything was absolutely fantastic, the whole experience (except the flight back, we had a mechanical problem and had to fly back to Nadi. So we were 4 hours late getting home). We absolutely loved Navutu and the Yasawas. The resort was great - clean, great people, amazing food, and so much more. It was tidal, but we knew that and it was not a big deal. Most mornings we swam at the resort, because there were some great swimming spots there. We took picnics to some great beaches in the afternoon, which the hotel recommended. We used the spa quite a bit, and it was great. Got to meet the owners and they were so nice. Everyone there was so friendly and welcoming. We really experienced a lot of great things: visited the limestone caves, lovo at the resort, lots of lagoon swimming/snorkeling, and just relaxing. Thank you so much for everything. Hello Robin I was planning on e-mailing you as soon as I got back, but I found myself knee deep in school. I came back late, and all my focus was on getting back on track with the other students. I can't thank you enough for setting us up with that resort. It was breath taking, we felt like movie stars, the resort was that luxurous. I have no idea how you were able to hook us up with that place with my budget. The Cook Islands was perfect for us. It felt so secluded, I felt like there was only a handful of tourists there, the privacy was next to none. I think this place is perfect for couples in our situation. I'm recommending it to all my friends. Robin I can't thank you enough
for this again. I've attached a few photos that I thought you might enjoy. Take care. Thanks again

Sue, We can't thank you enough. We had a great trip. Rosie's Travel took great care of us, as did the hotel. The whole trip went off without a hitch. We got to LAX by 7:30pm. There was no waiting at the ticket counter or at security, we just waltzed right through. They had closed off the upper deck of the plane but they did give us exit row seats, Row 51, and we had the row to ourselves. Didn't sleep much on the way over...too excited I guess. Arrived on time in Nadi. Rosie's greeted us, verified all our travel documents and then drove us to the Outrigger. We walked up to the check-in counter and said that we wanted to check in and they said "certainly, not a problem". That really made it nice. We got all unpacked and then met the bride & groom for breakfast. Can't say enough nice things about the hotel, the gardens, the hotel staff, the food.....everything was wonderful. The rehearsal dinner was wonderful. Both Luisa and Pruvena were very helpful and proposed a special menu for us, even though we were holding the dinner in the main restaurant. It turned out perfect!!!!! The wedding itself was held at the Myola Plantation. What a beautiful spot!!! We were very impressed with them and their service. Beautiful wedding, wonderful reception!!!!!! With the event behind us, Rosie's got us to the airport by 7:30pm. There was a bit of a wait at the airline check-in but no wait at security. We boarded the plane and got the upper level exit seats, Row 21 although we did have a gentleman in the row with us. The flight over was only about half full but the flight coming back looked pretty full. The man sitting next to us has a place on one of the outer islands and he has a cottage that he rents out. It sounded pretty nice. By the way, the weather was very pleasant (low to mid 70's every day), actually cooler even with the humidity, than the 80 degree weather we've been having in San Diego. The only down side was that wind was howling the day we arrived and it never let up...but it really didn't matter unless you were out on the beach. The pool area and the gardens offered a lot of protection. Again, we can't thank you enough for a smooth journey. Vinaka!!!!!!!! C. & R. Pearson San Diego, California Fiji Wedding Celebration |

Just a note to let you know that the arrangements you made for our Fiji trip turned out very well. Rosie's did a good job with the pick-up and transportations. One of the drivers, Panto, said he knew all the McCoy personnel. He was very good. The Blue Lagoon Cruise was good.
