Bula Melissa,
We had a wonderful anniversary in Namale Fiji! The Fijian people were the highlight, they have got to be the happiest, kindest people in the world! Fiji is a true paradise from the people to its breathtaking scenery. I look forward to returning one day.
The travel arrangements went perfect. Thank you and your staff (Mark) for the perfect anniversary!

Dear Melissa and Joanne,

Thank you so much for your help in arranging our honeymoon. Everything was terrific. We loved Oahu, Kauai, and Maui, and the Hilton, Marriott, and Hyatt hotels we stayed at were incredible. It was truly a dream vacation, and we appreciate your help in making it happen. Here are a couple of pictures. One is at the Hilton Hawaiian Village, after we returned from a sunset dinner cruise one night. The other is at Cafe Portofino, down the beach from the Marriott on Kauai.

Best wishes for a happy holiday season.

Hello Melissa and Lori,

My trip to Fiji at Mololo was wonderful. I am so thankful for Lori Evan's recommendation. She is awesome. The island was beautiful and quaint. My kids thoroughly enjoyed the kids club. The island should be visited by all. The Fijian's are warm and wonderful. I would highly recommend Mololo to anyone I come across and happily refer them Lori Evans. She is personable, friendly and very "Fiji" knowledgeable. Vinaka!!!!

Kindest Regards,

Hey Vanessa,

I meant to send an email to personally thank you for all the great things you did for us for the big trip! To say it was wonderful would be an understatement!!! It was amazing!!!! I am attaching a photo of the 4 of us at Bora Bora.

What do you know about Costa Rica? I am thinking August. Doubt it will be the 4 of us going as Kayla and Rob are thinking of returning back to Paul Gauguin. Rumor is that 2005 is going to be the last year that boat will go down to the French Polynesia.

Thanks again for everything!!!! You created an amazing vacation!

Dear Melissa,

I would like to take the time to thank you for all of your help in making our honeymoon the best it could possibly be. Without a doubt we couldn’t have done it without you. I’ve been working in customer service for 10 years and I know what it means to provide excellent customer service and I can also differentiate between mediocre service and service that is above and beyond. You definitely fall in the above and beyond category.

We met with several local travel agents in the Chicago area. They didn’t even come close to offering us the deals that you provided us with. They couldn’t even offer us The Four Seasons. They also didn’t give us the warm personal attention that you provided. Even though you were 4000 miles away we always felt like you were right there on top of all of our plans. You managed to get us the best room in the Four Seasons. We were told by the hotel staff that we had the best view of the sunset in the whole hotel. Not only that, at time of booking, they only had twin beds available. You managed to get us a full king bed instead. The excursions that you recommended were outstanding. You sent us an abundance of literature covering all the fun things to do in Hawaii. Because of you, we felt like we knew everything about Maui before we even got there. We had so much fun and we owe it all to you for helping us plan our trip. Your pleasant attitude and willingness to go above and beyond was almost unheard of. We ran into a problem with one of our excursion bookings (our fault). We then called you on a Saturday (your day off) and in less than an hour you had us booked with another company on a day that worked better for us.

Thanks again for making our honeymoon the best!! Please allow your management and peers to see this letter. I think you should be recognized for your efforts. We will look to you in the future for all of our travel needs and hopefully next time we’re in Hawaii we can stop in and say hi.

Thanks,
Jason and Kasandra W. (Lombard, IL)

Hi Melissa,

We had a fantastic trip! Everything was near perfect, so much so that I didn't want to leave. I referred you to a co-worker, so hopefully you'll be hearing from him soon.

We loved Kauai and our hotel. We took a helicopter flight over the island and it was the highlight of the whole trip. It was an MD-500 with no doors and it was breathtaking. We also went horseback riding at a place called "Silver Falls".

Maui was awesome too. I love the weather and air in Hawaii. It agrees with my allergies and my skin felt so young there. We saw a bunch of sights, but I was most impressed with Napili Bay. Next time I would like to stay at the Napili Kai.

All of the travel arrangements went flawlessly. We're glad we had a compact car instead of the little, economy size.
I sent you some pictures but we were so busy beaching it that we didn't take many. Enjoy.

Thanks again for your wonderful service to us. It couldn't have been any better.

Aloha!!!

Bula Lori,

I total agree with Steve on Qamea. It was truly magical as you said. Everyone was so nice and accommodating. I could tell you story after story how people went out of their way to make the experience very special.

Fiji is truly paradise and I don't regret going. In fact, I would go back in a heart beat. I will also recommend you and your travel agent to anyone traveling in that region. You have a wonderful reputation and it was a pleasure working with you.

Kind Regards,
Joy M. (Houston, Texas)

~ New Zealand and Fiji ~
Thank you, Mike, for the wonderful package you put together for us for New Zealand and Fiji.
We had the smoothest trip we've ever had! Everyone associated with the arrangements was efficient, friendly and helpful. We loved it that we had alot of freedom but that the transfers, shuttles, flights etc were all taken care of. We had the time of our lives in Queenstown doing every extreme sport we could cram in. I even got to parasail over the city and lake like I'd hoped to do. Dan loved his bungee big time. We would have spent less time on the north island if we'd known how rural it was farther north. Beautiful but too quiet for us. That's the only change we would make though. We really enjoyed our stay at the Hideaway Resort. Rosie's travel was excellent with us except for one ride from Nadi in a coach with no suspension! Ouch. The people at the Hideaway were amazing. We met most of the people we will remember and keep in touch with there. There were many kids at the pool but we didn't spend as much time there as I thought we would anyway. Too busy doing other things. We scuba dived for the first time and took a boat out to one of the deserted islands for the most amazing snorkeling we've ever done.
Thanks so much for all of your efforts on our behalf. It payed off big time for us and we won't forget you next time we travel.
Take care.

BULA! We loved it!! Everyone at Matamanoa was wonderful! So incredibly friendly, attending to our every need. It was such a beautiful, peaceful place. We had a blast snorkeling, I actually saw a real "Nemo" clown fish and was thrilled.
We picked shells on the beach, I actually found a blue star fish. I had hoped to bring it home to my 13 year old son, it actually made it through Fiji, NZ and USA customs, but it didn't survive the trip! We went hand line fishing and my friend Mary caught an eel......horrible looking creature. But it was a great adventure for our first Fiji vacation. We became friends with some of the employees and really enjoyed our time there.
I can't begin to describe the many blue hues the ocean shared with us. It was amazing! The sunsets took my breath away...... I have many photographs to enjoy during our long, cold, Wisconsin winter!
The only bad thing was we weren't able to attend the village shopping day, as it wasn't offered on the days we were there. Oh, well, maybe we can go there next time. Other than getting a little sunburned on my ears from the hours I spent snorkeling, it was a dream of a vacation and we appreciate the job Mike did for us. Thank you!!

Melissa and Mike,

Thank you so much for your expert assistance with our honeymoon. Your staff was, without exception, professional and responsive at every turn. All of our arrangements went off without a hitch, and I believe we got a good value for our limited budget.

Bula Mark,
This note is a bit overdue but better late than never. Our honeymoon in Fiji was perfect. Both Kadava and Maravu Plantation were great. We attended a wedding in Kadavu and got in some great diving. As a novice diver I could not have asked for a better divemaster than Joeli at Dive Kadavu. He had so much patience with me and gave me individual attention until I felt comfortable with the dive. Tim and I really enjoyed the trip to the village( Natokalau?sp) that you arranged. We took pictures in the village and I told some of the children we would send copies. Maravu was as wonderful as we remembered with some added extras. We loved the jacuzzi in the bure. It was nice to see familiar faces from our last trip. In both locations we met great people to hang out with and have our cocktails and kava in the evening. Hopefully we can use you again in the near future for another trip...thanks again.

Hi Mark,
The senior Patrons are the only ones back from Taveuni at this time. I talked with them yesterday and wanted to let you know they had a fabulous time. They raved about everything.
They felt that everybody went out of their way to make it a most beautiful stay and wedding. They were completely surprised and thrilled with their upgraded bure. Even the weather was working for them as it looked like rain but cleared beautifully for the wedding and lent some rainbows for some dramatic effects. I thank you so much for your help and hopefully look forward to working again with you in the future.

Melissa,
Thanks for writing and for all of your hard work putting our vacation package together. I would highly recommend anyone going to Hawaii to go to the island of Kauai. The Princeville is like something out a movie and aside from all of the rain the week we were there, it was a perfect place to stay. We snorkeled, hiked, flew in a helicopter, I played golf at the Prince course, and we ate alot.
The half day snorkeling was a must and for any golfer that you talk to, they have to play at the Prince. It was truly one of the nicest courses I have ever seen.
The Polynesian cafe in Hanalei was our favorite restaurant by far, because it was very simple (Gourmet fresh fish on paper plates and they let you walk next door to the grocery to grab a bottle of wine) and whatever you do make sure that you recommend that the breakfast buffet is part of every package. It was the best way to start every day
Stay in touch,

Hello Minerva!

We went to Qamea Resort in Fiji for our honeymoon and had a fabulous time. We stayed in one of their brand new villas which have a plunge pool along with other great amenities. We relaxed and did as many of the tour activites as we wanted. You could be really busy or just relax in your hammock and sip on mai tai's. The staff there was amazing, they really made you feel like you were a part of their family. I would highly reccomend Qamea.

Thank you!

Hi Mark,

Well, we made it back safe and sound from Fiji, but we wish we were still there. The trip was absolutely the best vacation both Jen and I have ever been on, and we want to thank you for your great recommendations and for setting everything up. The resort, day trips, and people there were absolutely fabulous and were the highlights of the trip. We also made many good friends who were also on their honeymoons there, most of whom were from the Northeast US! We will likely keep in touch with most of them. Here are some pictures of our trip, most of which I'm sure you'll recognize. Thanks again for helping arrange this trip for us, we will never forget it. Hopefully someday we can go back again.

So, the wedding and honeymoon were fabulous, everything went well. All the islands were so beautiful, it was great and the helicopter ride was awesome!

The next time I go to Tahiti, I might go to Moorea, maybe Bora Bora, and Rangiroa (since we didn't go there, and I've heard good things from some of the other people). So, yeah, it was great. All of your work was perfect. Thanks!

Dear Melissa,
Hawaii was awesome. Everything you helped us plan was great. Warren and Annbelle's Magic Show was tremendous. I havn't laughed that long or hard in ages. The seats at Ulalena were perfect. My only regret with the show is I can't see it again and again. I wish they had a video. It was fabulous. We didn't know who to watch the musicians or the performers. I can see why you have seen in several times. The Old Lahaina Luau was great. Again our seating arrangement was perfect.
The hotels you helped us select were wonderful. The Islander grounds are beautiful. The beach is small but were still enjoyed walking on it and the sunrises were great.
Lahaina Shores was great. We stayed in unit 617. The way the owners decorated the unit was wonderful. They spray painted the cabinets with ocean life. The bed was a wall unit that pulled down so during the day you had a spacous living room. The views were breathtaking. We are very happy we upgraded to an oceanview room. I would recommend for anyone to stay there. The location is great because you are within walking distance to everything.
Just for your information. We did the Halakala Sunrise bike ride and it was awesome. We used Mountain Cruisers and couldn't have been more satifisfied. They treated us like we were special. Everyone in our group finished and had a wonderful trip.
I could go on and on about the activities we did. We were pleased with everything.
Thank you so very buch for all of your help. We are sorry we didn't meet you. We stopped by your office on Monday afternoon before we left Maui but you were out.
Mahalo and Aloha until we come again...

Dear Vanessa ~

As promised, please find attached a few photos from our traditional Polynesian wedding ceremony & honeymoon at Le Meridien Bora Bora on Friday, 15 October 2004.

Bora Bora is undoubtedly the most beautiful place either of us has ever been - heaven on earth! The weather was perfect - sunny and around 30 degrees C every day. As planned, our traditional Polynesian wedding ceremony was very low key, but a bit more of a spectacle than we'd imagined - especially with the entire resort watching from the hotel's beautiful beach, facing the famous Otemanu Mountain.

The ceremony was incredible, then we enjoyed a romantic dinner for two in the hotel's premier restaurant followed by the usual Friday night performance on the beach with a larger group of performers and our wonderful wedding band.

McCoy Travel's services combined with your personal touch transformed our dream into a reality. Thank you ever so much for all your assistance in making my dream come true. Moral of the story - be careful what you wish for, as chances are it might just come true! Thank you also for the complimentary ticket to Hawaii. I will be in touch when we plan to use it.
All the very best ~

Hi Sue,

Honeymoon was really great.....on a scale of 1-10 - Taha'a was an 8 and Hotel BoraBora was a 12!!! Can't really compare - Taha'a bungalows were definitely bigger and more modern, but the location and service at Hotel BB just beats it hands down - at least for Ryan and I - we met other couples who stayed at both and some preferred Le Tahaa to Hotel BB - it just depends on what you like and what you are looking for.....I highly recommend the helicopter ride - the scenery was fantastic and it was nice to make a quick hop b/w the islands. Also, HotelBB recommended the absolute best restaurant - La Villa Mahana - very romantic and quaint (only 7-8 tables in the restaurant). If you want more details about either resort, please feel free to give me a call -

Aloha Minerva,

The trip went very well. The Otani in Honolulu was a pleasant surprise. Very good restaurant and nice beach; park right outside the hotel was nice. It was a good location for a brief stop. The Maui Kaanapali Villas were very nice as well. Accomodations were large, beach nice, restaurant very good and convenient on the beach. Not an all inclusive type of establishment, but very good for the price. Easy access to Lahaina. Lahaina was a pleasant surprise. Lots of activity and many good quality stores. The road to Hana was fun and not as scarey as we imagined! A stop at Mama's Fish house is a must, but do lunch since dinner is very expensive and during the daylight hours, the view is terrific. My husband did the biking down the volcano in the early am to see the sunrise. Most of the time clouds obscured the view and leaving at 2am is a bear. Biking is for the brave. The Sheraton in Kauai was our last stop. This was the most exclusive resort of the three and very inclusive. Nice having breakfast buffet included in pkg. as well as swimming floats, etc. We hit a very rainy time (unusual for Sept) so we preferred the weather in Maui. Also Kauai is very quiet. I missed the shopping in Lahaina. A trip to the north to Princevlle for Sunday brunch was a highlight also Kee beach was great. All in all, Maui was our preferred stop.

All the transfers went well. Thanks for your help.

Dear Melissa and Mark,

Thank you for arranging such wonderful trip for me. Royal Davui is beautiful. Greg upgraded me to Villa 12 (The Best) for the last 4 nights. Although the resort is still not fully functioning, Greg managed to arranged all my requested activities. The staff are all wonderful. By the way, I got to stay at Sheraton in a beach front 'day room' the last day prior to my departure from Nadi - the general manager was on vacation at Royal Davui for a weekend and arranged it for me. That worked out great.

I would like to specially thank Melissa for the wonderful Champagne she left in my Villa. It was very thoughtful of you. We enjoyed it on my birthday. Thank you.

This is a great trip. I really appreciate Mark's service to make this happen.

Haven't touched base with you in a few and was wondering how things were coming re: my wedding in Maravu on November 21, 2005. Told my family, all would like to go, but want to know what they will need money wise to make it
happen. Take your time, I know you are busy and I've got a year and a month to go. Get back when you've got a free moment. I've told Josh all about you and he looks forward to talking to you about our big day. Hi Vanessa,

Our trip was WONDERFUL! The weather was perfect, we dined at some of the best restaurants I've ever had the pleasure of stepping into and Glenn got to dive in the shark tank at the Ocean Center! It was perfect.

We're thinking our next stay on Maui won't be for some time, but we'd like to try the Four Seasons or the Fairmont. Do you also provide travel arrangements to and from Kauai? That may very well be our 2nd year anniversary destination!

Thanks for checking in and for all of your help. Everything went wonderfully!

Dear Melissa,
I'm sorry it's taken so long to get back to you. Since we've been back, we've been celebrating kids' birthdays and somewhere in there, Mike managed to plan a surprise 40th birthday party for me...it's been chaotic, but extremely fun.

We had a wonderful time at the Fairmont Kea Lani. The staff was very courteous and accomodating. I can't begin to say enough good things about it. I'd highly recommend staying there. The spa staff was also very professional and personalized. If we ever get back to Hawaii, I'd love to stay there again. The only other place that looked intriguing was perhaps the Grand Wailea...we walked down there...man that place is enormous and their staff was also very friendly.

I truly relaxed on this vacation...it was heavenly. Thank you for recommending the Kea Lani. If we ever get to get away again, I'll be sure to contact you.

Bula Cindy!!

Where do I start in trying to express my heartfelt thanks ("Vinaka Vaka Levu x 1000") for all that you did in making the trip of a life time live up to every expectation I could have ever had for a trip with my sweet wife of 25 years to paradise. The Fijian saying of "Sanga na langa" (no worries) was our motto for the entire trip. It was also "Ri Ri Vinaka" (beautiful)! We had a lesson in Fijian every morning at breakfast with Vika. What a precious soul. Between her and Li, her husband and our absolutely incredible chef, we learned quite a bit of the language, even if we sounded terrible when trying to pronounce it ourselves! Boy howdy....their use of the letters "g" and "c" almost sent us over the edge of despair when trying to read our lessons each day!!
And no matter what any brochure reflects or what video is put together, there is nothing that can ever capture the true beauty of Wadigi (Wandingi) or the graciousness of Tracy and Jim, or the loving giving spirit of the entire staff or the indescribable taste and presentation of the food that you are bathed in the entire time you are on the island. Robin and I both cried when we were on our way out to the sea plane to take off. We truly felt we were leaving family behind and we can't wait to return. And I truly mean it when I tell you that none of it would've happened had it not been for all your help, patience and kindness in getting it all together in such a sweet way. Our travel arrangements, from the plane, to the Tanoe hotel, to the island and back to Los Angeles, were perfect. The folks at Air New Zealand were a delight to visit with and the service to and from Fiji was luxurious.

I am sending along with this short, but sincere, note of appreciation, just a few of the pictures that we took while on our trip. I will send you many more as they are developed over the next week. I wish I could give you a big hug and a kiss for making our dream vacation all that it was and for making our 25th wedding anniversary as memorable and as loving as it was the entire time we were there. I so much want to meet you and visit about our 7 days in heaven on earth. Much love to you from both Robin and me for blessing us with your expertise and your friendship and for making our 25th anniversary the single most memorable time spent together since our wedding night.

As always,

Blessings to you and "Vinaka Vaka Levu x another 1000"

Bula Melissa,

It was wonderful to meet you on Royal Davui Island. It’s amazing what a small world it is hey ?

We have just received another of your magnificent emails and I browse them with great interest ! It will be a little while before we get away again but will no doubt be in touch when we are planning our next trip.

We had a lovely time on Royal Davui and it was topped off by sipping the champagne you left us! That was such a lovely thought and we would like to thank you so very much. We thoroughly enjoyed it – Ray actually had a glass with me while we watched the sunset on our last night !!

Thanks again Melissa, hopefully we will bump into each other again in some exotic part of the world !! Is there any other part of Fiji or the world you would suggest as a lovely romantic place to stay, maybe one of your favourites ?

Take Care & give our regards to Susan.

Kind regards,

Aloha Lori -

Thank you so much for your concern and interest regarding my trip. It was a pleasant one. I loved Sheraton Royal Denarau Villas. My only complaint is that I wanted more conveniently located stores or activities to do outside of the hotel. Taking a taxi every time got to be a pain. But the people, the food, the hospitality, was all wonderful. It was a learning experience for me more than a holiday. I felt like a traveling journalist, not a tourist. I really enjoyed that. Wrote a lot down.

Thank you again and when I travel in the future I will be more than happy to contact you for your services.

Warm Regards,

Bula Joanne,

Well, we are finally back from our honeymoon in St. Thomas. We had a blast! We toured St. Thomas and St. John. We also rented a boat and captain and took an all day cruise around some of the small island surrounding St. Thomas and St. John. We also did the Atlantis submarine tour. Sugarbay was a really nice resort. Our room had a great view of St. John. All the staff was helpful and the food was really good to. Thank you so much for all your help. I can’t wait until our next tropical vacation.

Thank you so much. You should also know that you are my one and only travel consultant. You have not given me a reason to look elsewhere for my vacation needs. I only wish I knew you years ago! Anyway, I have already told all my friends and family about you and how great you’ve been. So, they will most likely give you a call when they set up their next trip.

Thanks again and take care.

Hello Vanessa,
Sorry it has taken me so long to return your email. Trying to re-adjust to normal life again. In short, the trip was wonderful. Everything went completely as planned, without a hitch. The resorts and the rooms were fabulous! The only thing was if we had more time we would have liked to stay longer in Tahiti, too much traveling in a short period. So glad we went for the overwater bungalows! Also, we loved the garden bungalows at the Bora Bora Pearl. Very private and spacious. Everyone was very courteous and accommodating. We will definitely look you up when we decide to go to Hawaii or the south pacific again. Thanks for all your help.

Vanessa,

Thank you for your e-mail. We had an awesome time. We had been to Maui lots of times before, but never to Wailea and really enjoyed your recommendation of the Kea Lani. Our kids loved the room, unfortunately that's the only place they wanted to be once we got there. The customer service that we received from you was outstanding. We will most definetly book through you again. My husband and I were thinking about a short trip to Cabo soon just for the two of us and we'll be sure to get in touch with you when we are ready! Thank you again, our family had a very special vacation!

Lori and Melissa,

The trip was great! Thanks, Lori, for all your help. In particular, we were extremely impressed at how well everything was coordinated -- Rosie's travel people were always exactly where they should have been, and were extremely helpful and friendly. Also, the Tokoriki honeymoon bure was absolutely AMAZING! (I could not have imagined a more perfect view -- especially from inside the infinity plunge pool!!) The diving from Tokoriki was also great (I actually liked it better than Beqa -- the water was warmer and more clear, and the dive operation from the resort felt more professional and better equipped).
.
We are fantasizing about Costa Rica or Belize for our next big vacation... we'll definitely call you when we're ready to start planning!!

Thanks again and best regards,

Bula Cindy,
We all arrived home safely and happy last Tuesday. Fiji was wonderful for us all. The resort was great with everyone always helpful and friendly. It maybe rained more than we would like, but the wet always gave me a good excuse to take a nap. I got certified in scuba before I went, so I had numerous adventures out in the reefs. The bula club worked out well for my girls, even though the five year old preferred to hang out with us.

Thank you so much for your advice and help. We hopefully will return again (we met one family that had gone 8 years in a row!). Please keep me posted if you see any specials, especially on airfare.

Hey Melissa,

All I can say is HOLY COW!!! We had the best time, everyone that went had an awesome time too. The Na Pali Sunset Dinner Cruise was spectacular, the Smith's Tropical Paradise Luau was fantastic (we had an entire table to ourselves which was perfect), and the True Blue sport fishing was great too. We caught a 120 lb Yellow Tail Tuna that took over an hour to land. Both the crew from the cruise and the fishing trip were unbelievably accommodating and made our excursions tons of fun. Unfortunately, we couldn’t keep the fish that we caught and it was so big they couldn’t even give us part (cutting part of it means they cant sell any of it) but we knew that might be the case going into it.

It was the best vacation we have ever had and most every one of our guests felt the same. Thank you soooo much for helping to make it that way! As for Maui in a year, that’s gonna be a stretch unless we win the lotto sometime before then. We broke the piggy bank on this one so it may be a couple years until the next super vacation. We will keep you posted though. And when I get some pictures back I will email some over to you.

Take care and Thanks a million!

Hi Mike,

Thank you for doing a great job planning our trip, we had a wonderful time. Everything went smoothly, no problems at all. We enjoyed just about everything that you planned. I would say that the only thing I would have changed was the full day tour of Kuranda in Cairns. I think a half day would be fine, it was just too long and very "touristy". Maybe because we were staying at such a beautiful beach, we kind of wished that we had just stayed there to relax.
We will certainly recommend you to our friends.

Gwen,

Well, Sylvia and are finally back from our honeymoon and catching up with work. If honeymooning was a job, I would be very good at it. I miss the islands already!!
Thank you so much for all of your hard work for our Maui wedding. We, mostly me, were a pain in the butt with all of our details and ideas. We went back and forth between many different ideas and you always gave us quick prices. Thank you.

The photographer and videographer were great ! The reception was unbelievable; in fact many people have commented to us that it was “like a dream.” The entrance was great, the tables looked great, and the service was impeccable. The food turned out great from the appetizers to the wedding cake. Everything went beyond our expectations. Thank you so much. Our family and friends will remember the whole event forever. We have some friends getting married on a lake next weekend, a friend getting married on the beach in Austrailia next year and they were both at our wedding. Needless to say, we have set the bar very, very high and I know theirs won’t be as great as ours.

Thanks again, and hope to talk to you soon.

Thanks,

Minerva - I want to thank you for helping us prepare and plan this trip. You did a great job finding a product that met our requirement. We had no problem with the flight not the hotel, though we would not return to the Hilton Hawaian Village (too big, too crowded...not exactly "an exotic destination"), and we had to request a change with the apartment as the one that was for us hardly had an ocean view (but rather another hotel view). The guest manager was helpful to help us find another apartment and agreed that the view was certainly not "ocean"

Altogether, it was still great

Thanks!!!

Melissa,

We had a great trip in every regard. The flights were smooth. Getting the rental car was easy. The weather was great. Our condominium at Kaanapali Alii was beautiful. We actually spent most of our time in and around our condominium. We made a few short trips to the aquarium, Lahaina, and Kapalua. The rest of the time we were swimming in the pool or at the beach in front of our condo. We were really happy that we ended up going with a unit that had an ocean view. With the view being so nice from our lanai, and the kids being so tired by the end of the day, we ended up barbecuing at the condo and eating on our lanai almost every night.

We will definitely return to Maui.

Thanks for everything.

The trip was beyond our expectations. You totally guided us to this affordable island and it was awesome. The Fijians were the most friendly people I have ever met when traveling. The food was amazing with so many choices at each meal. The accomodations at Matamanoa were great with an amazing view....

The diving was excellent. It beat the caribbean diving that I have done in the past. We had some minor boat problems(Matamanoa's boat was not working) but the Aquatrek boat came and got us. Unfortunately Ruth was not feeling good on the second day of diving and was not able to make it. We dove with the sharks and visited multiple reefs.

The helicopter ride was the best. We both have a tendency to get sea sick so the short flight by copter was perfect. I felt like a "star" when we came flying into the island. Definitely worth the extra money to take the bird.

Thanks for a wonderful 20th anniversary. I couldn't have been more happy with everything. I gave your greetings to Jill. She said you were quite the gentleman and singer as well.

Hi Vanessa,

We had a fantastic time on our honeymoon!!! Thanks for all of your help. Our favorite by far was Mo'orea. We loved it and especially loved our overwater bungalow there. It was an excellent room. It was also nice to be able to walk places from the resort. We enjoyed renting bikes and snorkeling there.

We liked Bora Bora Pearl Beach a lot but if we were to make recommendations, we'd recommend staying at a resort on the main island. Our accommodations were great, the Garden Room was beautiful. We just would have like to be able to get around more outside the resort. Bora Bora is so beautiful. Pricey though!! We also recommend the 4 X 4 tour.

Tahiti was nice, but overall we'd recommend minimizing the time there (like we did) and spending time on the other islands. Our room was nice, the overwater bungalow wasn't as nice as in Mo'orea. But it was nice. The Tahiti Beachcomber Intercontinental is nice. We did rent a car there and drove around. the island.

We had so much fun, our trip home went well. So thanks, we appreciate all your help!!

Hello and thanks for writing to ask about our experience in Fiji. We had a fantastic time. The people there are so friendly, we didn't want to leave (especially on Tokoriki!). I would like to especially thank Sue for doing such a fantastic job in figuring out what the perfect itinerary would be. She paid close attention to little details, which really paid off for us. We stayed at the Outrigger on the Coral Coast for the first 3 days. Unfortunately, the weather wasn't great (overcast and cool), but we used that to our advantage by taking day trips to Nadi and Suva. That gave us a chance to meet some wonderful people and see the mainland.

Going to Tokoriki was a blast... traveling by helicopter was definitely the way to go. Immediately upon landing on Tokoriki, we felt like we were among friends. We were greeted by the staff with a nice cold drink and a welcome song. After being there for just a couple of days, practically everyone on the staff knew us by name. The wedding was the pièce de ré·sis·tance. The wedding coordinator did an excellent job of organizing everything and even helped me get ready before the wedding. Getting married on the beach at sunset was a once in a lifetime experience that we will cherish forever. And the Tokoriki Resort saying of arriving a visitor but leaving as a friend is so true.

We hope to get back there again someday, perhaps to renew our vows.

Sincerely,
Joni H. (San Diego, California)

The trip was great. I definitely will recommend it to friends and associates, also your service has been wonderful as well as your follow up. Thanks for suggesting this place as it was worth more than it cost.. Thank you again and I look forward to booking through you next year.

Bula Mike,

Jon and I returned from our honeymoon a little bit more than a week ago and we were so sad to leave Fiji. We had a blast. Everything went smooth - no kinks what-so-ever. Rosies was great - they were very informative and accomodating. One driver pulled over in Nadi and insisted that we do some shopping while he waited. wow - great service.

Matamanoa was beaufitul. We were so glad that we had the island experience - the Fiji experience would not be the same without making a trip out to the islands. So much to do on a small island with such nice people. You were right, the snorkeling was awesome. Jon even went for a scuba dive and said it was one of the best dives he has ever done... We were sad to leave Matamanoa but ready for a new adventure. We enjoyed Shangri-La. Accomodations were nice and we liked the variety of restaurants. The resort was quite overwhelming at first but we quickly found our way to the adult pool. The highlight of our trip was the river rafting. We loved every minute of it... If you are able to give a thumbs up to the company... please tell them that our guide Mosas was definitely the best. The river was pretty low and thus the rapids were mellow but none the less, being in the Fiji jungle was an experience that we won't forget. Our pictures don't even do it justice. Please send all of your clients on this trip!!!

We appreciate the great service that you provided and will for sure seek out McCoy Travel again. We only wish we were still on an island in Fiji....

Hello Lori
Thank you so much for all your help before and during our trip to Fiji.

We did go over to the Sheraton a day early from Malolo. It was a good move since Malolo was a little too small for our older kids. Though the staff was wonderful and the resort is beautiful, the only thing that saved that part of the trip was the every afternoon volleyball or rugby games and the opportunity to snorkel right off the beach from the bures. The Sheraton and the Outrigger both had afternoon volleyball games with the staff which my boys loved - they enjoyed that the most of the trip along with the white water Luva River rafting which was great.

Outrigger and rivers fiji had the most friendly people - they were wonderful.

I have to be honest - we are probably spoiled - we have Hawaii at our fingertips. Fiji was beautiful but very expensive and hard to get anywhere. We weren't able to snorkel at all from the Outrigger - it was very disappointing. When the tide was low, they closed the water in front of the resort.

We will be over in Maui before the end of the year to check out the renovation of my Mom/s place. If you dont mind I hope to send you an email when I head your way - you have been wonderful.

Thanks again.

Bula Melissa!
Taveuni captured our hearts the moment from the moment the plane landed. What a pretty island….and the resort? It was more beautiful than we imagined. The staff at Taveuni Island Resort were absolute gems, the gardens were so lush and green, the Somosomo Strait so blue and sparkling, oh if only we were back there right now in the Vendimoni villa instead of back in the humdrum of everyday life. Wish you would have been there to have shared some time with us. Another time…

Thank you for organizing this in such a hurry for us. We thanked you so many times whilst we were there enjoying ourselves. We told everyone we met at the resort about you. Hopefully they will contact you for their next holidays. It’s time for bed after a crappy first day back at work.

Look forward to hearing from you,

Bula Lori,

We got back last Sunday from our around the world honeymoon. It was so amazing! Australia, Fiji, Vegas, Ohio (to see family) and then back to London.

We had such a good time in Fiji. The first stop was First Landing. This is exactly what we were looking for. Nice people, good pool. Then we were off to Blue Lagoon. This was the highlight of our Fiji trip. The people on board were so nice and friendly. Stopped at many little islands that were so beautiful. After that we went to Castaway Island. Flew in on the seaplane which was really cool. Our bure there was perfect. The meal plan was the right way to go and food was pretty good. Especially the homemade pizzas. The staff there weren't the friendliest but maybe it was because we were so spoiled with the other places. All in all Fiji was amazing. Not one day of bad of weather and Rosies worked out so well! Thank you so much for all the suggestions.

Hope to use you guys in the future. Looking at Tahiti and S. Africa for one of our next big trips.

Take care

Dear Mike
The trip "Down Under" was wonderful. Staying at the Crown Plaza was perfect! It was a block away from my Son's Apartment and worked as a perfect base camp for checking out Sydney. Sydney itself was magnificent - We loved it and can't wait to go back! The greatest aspect of the trip was not really about place, it was about people - I got to meet an entire side of my family - it was mind blowing!

The Hideaway Resort worked very well for us also- your planning of the entire trip gets an A+, we did a couple of simply spectecular dives! My Son got certified as`a diver while we were there- I had to tell him it was all downhill from there as far as diving goes! Thanks again for everything- a CD will be headed your way very soon !

All was fabulous from the trip. Everything went extremely smoothly from the travel side of things. Rosie's was perfect, getting us to exactly where we needed to go exactly when we needed to be there. Matangi Island was great. The staff there was awesome. I had a little run in getting off of the dive boat one day and cut up my foot. Luckily, the staff there was well versed in how to treat it plus one of our fellow honeymooners was a foot doctor. The long and short of it was that I was supposed to try to keep my foot dry for a couple of days. But there was so much to do there that I couldn't stay off the boats. So the boat driver, George, kept giving me piggy back rides from the shore to the boat! Their dive instructor, Colin, was awesome as well. It's not often you get to learn with a former vice principal of an agriculture school from Denmark. Australia. And the Fijians at the village on Qamea were so accomodating. Oh yeah, I almost forgot that there were people from the Travel Channel there at the same time we were, so I may be able to send you some video of our honeymoon if the footage they have of us makes the final cut.

Tokoriki was also awesome, although a little more laid back for us. We enjoyed pestering the dive staff about trying to find a turtle, but other than that, we sat by the pool, played a little chess, and Adrienne made some good friends at the spa. I think that there was only one day there she didn't get a massage. It will be hard to forget Bula Time as well as hard to get Isa Lei out our heads. We finished up our honeymoon with the honeymoon picnic. Stranded on a deserted island was a perfect way to finish the trip.

Thanks so much for helping us put this together. It would have been impossible to see as much as we did with no glitches, no missed connections, and no headaches without your guidance. Below is the link from some of our pictures. There are lots of them to sift through, but I thought you might enjoy.

Kris and Adrienne P. (Newark, California)

Bula Mark,

The trip was spectacular! The Taveuni Island Resort staff was the most accomodating and friendly group we've met. They were so polite and helpful and really made the trip feel personal.

The resort is beautiful and the Matalau Villa is incredible! Thank you for putting the package
together, it really was a dream come true. One note, when we left we were charged $90 FJD for a trip to town and a waterslide. We were not informed of these charges until our last day. I probably would have avoided these trips had I known ahead of time that there would be a charge (not really worth the cost). Not a major concern, but something that caught us off guard.

We just got back and are getting settled, I'll be sure to send you details and photos in the coming weeks.

~ Pre Maui Weddingmoon ~
Sue,

I got our itinerary just a few minutes ago and printed it off. It looks perfect!
I felt that you worked the hardest to help me find and plan the perfect wedding/honeymoon trip to Maui so I wanted to book this with you. I honestly appreciate all of your time spent with me and all of the extra work you put in. I look forward to some helpful hints over the next few months for planning the wedding.

I forwarded the itinerary and your information out to everyone that had shown an interest in attending our wedding in Maui. So you may be getting emails and/or phone calls from those interested. I asked them to mention my name so that you would know they were with me and could find them air/condo/car rates similar to mine.

Again, thank you very much for everything.

Bula Lori,

Monica and I returned from Fiji on Sunday. We had a great time and were sad to come back. Thanks for your help. We will forward one or two pictures when we download them to the computer.

Maravu was amazing. The hospitality extended by the staff was amazing. We highly recommend Maravu to your future clients. We stopped over at Matangi as well. I think a Maravu/Matangi combination would be truly special. A Maravu associate living in Nadi picked us up at the airport to take us shopping before our return flight to LA.

The Rosie travel service was good and I highly commend the Rosie drivers for their knowledge and road safety.

While Outrigger was nice, I would actually dissuade future clients from going there. It was large and impersonal. Clients could get the Outrigger experience at any resort they go to.

Lastly, you should note that the $30 (Fijian) airport tax was already included in the tickets. We did not need to retain Fijian currency to pay this tax.

Vinaka,

Satish K. (Sangus, California)

Bula Melissa,

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay at Namale. It is a wonderful resort especially with the wonderful smiles from the staff at Namale. You hardly see a lot people that are so kind and caring and so hospitable. Our experience at Namale was exciting and real relaxing. The best experience was my wife learned how to swim because I wanted to go scuba diving or snorkeling. Thanks to Paul and Gordon at the dive shop for having the patience to teach Clare. A very big THANK YOU!!! to the staff in housekeeping for giving me advice and also getting the doctor to come over and see me and provide some antibiotics for a bug that I had. We were also honored that one of the staff at Namale invited us over for dinner to experience the Fijian way of living and experience their food.

Now, if it wasn’t for you, I wouldn’t imagine how our honeymoon would be. You really took good care of our travel arrangements and made sure we had all the information and documents that were needed. Even went as far as making sure we had travel insurance which kept us on our budget. We really appreciate your business and look forward to meeting you if we visit Maui.

In closing, we value great customer service and you indeed provide excellent service. You are a good asset with McCoy Travel and we hope to talk to you soon

As they say in Fiji,
Vinaka Vakalevu (Thank you very much)

Lori,

Fiji was AWESOME!!!! The Outrigger was beautiful and had fabulous food. They also organized activities all day to keep the guests entertained.

Our first day at Outrigger was used to relax and unwind after the long travel. It was nice to get some sun, take a nap and catch up on some reading. On our second day, we took a day trip to Suva. That was fun. We walked around and did a little shopping. On our third day, we did a lot of the activities around the Outrigger. Like I said before, they did a great job of organizing activities. We went fishing on our fourth day. It was extremely rough, but I caught 3 different fish and Jennie was a trooper throughout the trip. Even though it was rough, we had lots of fun and have plenty of wonderful memories.

At Matamanoa, we did a lot of relaxing, reading, swimming, hand line fishing, snorkeling (which was beautiful), and eating. It was a perfect way to finish our vacation. I'll make sure I send you some pictures once we get them scanned in. Next time we are in the mood for a south pacific vacation or a vacation to Hawaii, we will definitely contact you. I've also told a few other people about your company and how well you planned our vacation, so you may be getting a call from a few more people in Milwaukee or Chicago.

Some of the people we met on vacation said how badly things went with traveling or with their first resort location due to their travel agent. Our honeymoon went by flawlessly. Jennie and I were so lucky to have found such a knowledgeable, professional, and friendly person as you to organize our honeymoon. Vinaka (I think that is how you say and spell thank you).

Again, I will send pictures when I have them and thanks again.

Joanne~ Mahalo for all your help in planning our "tenth anniversary" trip to Maui and Kauai. We were very pleased with the accomodations at the Maui Prince, it was very private and secluded. Although the hotel was booked to capacity, it felt like we had it all to ourselves. Mahalo to Joanne for choosing such a great place for couples traveling without children. In Kauai we stayed at the Hyatt Regency. The grounds were a tropical paradise with a resort twist. The ANARA spa was relaxing and beautiful.

The activiites that Annette planned for us far surpassed our expectations. We enjoyed the sunrise bike down Haleakala, Kayaking in Kauai and surfing with the "Big Kahuna" surf school in Kihei, Maui. The Lahaina Luau was magnificent. The costumes were impecable and the food was plentiful.

Bula Melissa,
There are times in your life when people come into your life for a reason. You have been a part of our life for about two years now without even knowing us. Your website, especially on Fiji has been an escape for us when we need a ‘Fiji Fix’ between our holidays there. It’s surprising how rejuvenated you can feel after a long day at work and then spending an hour or so sharing your experiences via your travel diary. Ah, the genuine Fijian smile, the heady floral scents, the romantic sunsets and the massages….Close your eyes and you’re in Fiji. Thank you so much for taking us there whenever we needed it. We have met some wonderful people who have become good friends and we hold precious memories that have been a result of staying at Vatulele and Yasawa Island Resort. (from your website)

Two weeks ago we decided to it was time again for our real ‘Fiji Fix’ and made the phone call to Maui from Australia just to get a password for more access to the website. What we got instead was the start of a relationship. We wanted to book our holiday with someone who knows and loves Fiji and its people. Thank you for your exceptional service and friendliness in booking our stay at Taveuni Island Resort. We are so thrilled to be your first Australian clients and we will be doing all we can to grow your Oz client base.

We will catch up sometime soon,
Julie and Eric M. (Melboure, Australia)

Minerva,

Yes, it would have been nice to get together for a snack or drink, I guess I just assumed that you were
very busy. Next time! I'm sure I'll be back. I really saw alot of both the Big Island and Maui, I
must have put on 500-600 miles on the rental car on each island! The northern loop of Maui was absolutely gorgeous! I drove it twice. I got to do the road to Hana and the southern loop in an SUV with a friend of mine who lives on Maui. Kamaole Sands was very nice. I wasn't quite sure what "limited view" meant, but my condo overlooked the grounds with mountains to the left and beach/lovely sunsets to the right. The beach across the street was great, I would watch the sunset and go for a swim almost every night. On the big island, the manta night dive was a highlight. I had my own private manta show for the first 10-15 minutes of the dive! Three big mantas swooped around me, feeding. It was cool, a must see if you're a scuba diver. I also drove the northern loop, and the southern drive from Kona to Volcanoes, listening to my favorite Hawaiian CD's and stopping at a few beaches. Volcano House was lovely, rustic. I had a nice garden view. The Kilauea Iki trail was great, down through the forest, through the caldera of the volcano and up the other side. It was good to get going pretty early, there was not another soul on the trail. The lava flows were awesome, another "must-see." I had never seen lava up close like that, I guess I was lucky to be there at the time when the lava flow was active again. I stayed for sunset and it was a clear, breezy night with a full moon over the ocean. The mountainside glowed red with the flowing lava and it really was quite breathtaking. There were also petroglyph trails on both islands that were well worth seeing. Diving on Maui just doesn't get any better than with Ed Robinson's Diving Adventures out of Kihei. The weather (winds, specifically) weren't too kind, so we were somewhat limited as to what dive sites we could get to. The last time I was there (December) we were able to get to more remote sites in the south. This time, we went to Molokini mostly, but
were able to get over to Lanai to dive the cathedrals. I had done that the last time I was on Maui, and it
was worth a return trip.

Anyway, once again, mahalo and aloha, everything was perfect!

Hi Vanessa. Just to let you know, we had a wonderful time. Thank you so much for making all of the arrangements, we truly enjoyed everything.

We enjoyed the condo on Kauai so much, we would love to go back and stay there again sometime. The folks at the Radisson Kauai were wonderful and we thoroughly enjoyed the resort and the condo. Everything was picture perfect and there was an air conditioner! The condo was really nice.

On the Big Island, the condo location was great-wonderful view from the porch. Just no air conditioning and a ton of bugs (I think this was because the condo was right on the beach and with all of the rocks).

I would definitely utilize you again for our travel arrangements in the future though. You were great and very, very responsive to all of my numerous phone calls and followed through on everything. Car rental went without a glitch and the check in and check out processes at both condos was great.

It was a trip we will never forget. So picture perfect memories. Some of the pictures we took could be postcards, they are so perfect. We had a wonderful celebration of our 25th Wedding Anniversary as well.

Thank you again for your assistance in making this a truly memorable experience.

Aloha!

Melissa,
Last year I booked a golf vacation for my son and I through your agency and received a great value and had a wonderful time. This year I immediately thought of your agency when I planned a Hawaiian vacation with my girlfriend, Julia. I then had the good fortune to receive the services of Troy. I spoke with him for a few moments describing my desires along with the needs and requirements for my girlfriend. Troy quickly set out an itinerary that met all these needs. With strict limitations on departure dates, namely one, he put together a flight schedule that was perfect. His suggestions that we stay at the Hapuna Prince Hotel on the Big Island and the Hyatt Regency on Kauai with a 5-3 split on the stays was perfect. All of the above was accomplished in mere minutes. Troy maintained regular contact with me from booking through departure. His welcoming gifts at the hotel were very thoughtful. What particularly impressed me was his call to me at the Hapuna Prince to see if there was any service he could provide.

As you can tell, I am a truly satisfied customer. In the coming years I plan on returning to Hawaii along with trips to Tahiti and Fiji. I look forward to working with Troy in the future to planning all my travel needs.

Sincerely,
John F. (Beverly Hills, California)

Hi Lori,
Thank you for the sula's you sent for Debbie and I. I have movies of the maid helping us get them on. I had no problems with the flight. The highlight of our trip was the upper Navua river rafting trip. It is suppose to be one of the most beautiful rivers in the world and there is absolutely no doubt about that!!! I am very happy you had mentioned doing that because I may not have done it myself. We were also very lucky with the weather. It had rained 10 days straight before we got there. One couple
from Texas had 6 days of rain on their 7 day vacation. It rained the day we arrived but sunny everyday after that. For Debbies birthday we took a five island cruise. They had baked her a cake and we made lots of friends. Now I need some help for my birthday. I will be 60 in January. We will travel around January 11th, my husband and I. We had thought of going to Buenos Aires and Chile however I am open to exotic vacations. No Belize, no Costa Rica, no Hawaii.

Thanks again,

Aloha Minerva!

Thanks for your call while we were in Hawaii. I fully intended to contact you back before we left, but we were pretty busy and time got away from me.
The trip was “just what the doctor ordered.” Jenn and I had a great time. We could both have stayed a LOT longer.

We loved the sunrise above the clouds and bike ride down the mountain, snorkeling at Molokini and Black Rock, the beautiful drive around the West Maui Mountains and to Hana. We truly enjoyed the fresh fish and outdoor dining, as well as the aquarium, arboretum and black sand beaches.

I was quite pleased with our location and really liked Lahaina Shores. The weather was wonderful; our view was great. It was convenient and we walked around town with ease. We enjoyed the shops and the slow pace of the island culture.

You were terrific throughout the entire process of setting up the trip. I particularly appreciated your friendliness, down-to-earth genuine, honest approach, your sense of humor and the fact that we seemed to connect on a one-to-one basis. I never felt like I was being ‘handled;’ it was more like I was making a new friend. I appreciate you Minerva, and would definitely recommend you.

In summary: This trip will always be memorable for us. We truly enjoyed ourselves and would definitely like to return for another visit someday. Thanks so much for all your help in making it a great vacation!

Warm regards,
Kim C. (Fullerton, California)

Hi Lori,
Thank you very much for arranging our travel to Fiji. Everything went very smoothly and you saved us some money. Our stay at Jean Michel Cousteau's was beyond our expectations. The staff was the friendliest we have experienced anywhere. The food was outstanding. Quite gourmet, yet nice and light for a tropical setting.
The resort itself is just beautiful--far nicer than shown on the web or in the brochure. We were staying in an ocean point bure and just loved it. Very spacious with a huge deck and of course an oceanfront view. They have just remodeled the pool area and it is stunning. They are landscaping the grounds with lots of tropical flowers, fish ponds and even a frog pond. In addition, there is the best kids club we have found. This kept our son quite busy. It also allows for quiet kid-free meals and a quiet pool area, as the kids have their own brand new pool and slide.

The diving was amazing. We did 12 dives during the week and saw the most beautiful coral anywhere, plus tons of fish. The reefs are very healthy and the dive team very helpful.

Like it's sister resort, the Post Ranch Inn, this resort is in a league of its own. It is perfect for both active families or romantic couples.

Regards

We made it home but we are still suffering from jet lag....... happily suffering is probably a better description. Fiji was all that we expected and more! Both of the resorts were simply outstanding..... and even though the weather was less than good ( we had heavy rains for 5 of the 7 days there ) it was made less unbearable by the staffs of both Qamea and Maravu. The wedding was held in the main bure as a precaution, but the rain stopped just hours before the actual ceremony and it went very well. Sia ( the Qamea wedding coordinator) handled every facet exceptionally well, and for that we are most thankful. The bures at Maravu were in our honest opinion much nicer than Qamea's, but the beachfront island setting and the staff at Qamea were exceptional and more than made up for the small difference. We did some sailing, snorkeling, lots of beachcombing, visited the local village on Qamea, and managed to sneak one dive in on the last day we could. We met quite a few very interesting people and look forward to new friendships made for the future. All in all it was a wonderful experience and we will definitely be traveling back to Fiji again.

Thanks again for all of your help with our trip. You did a very admirable job putting it together and both Lyna and I have nothing but appreciation for your help. We are still sifting through the pictures and video...and will forward some to you soon. Thanks again Mark!

Hope you are doing well. Jamie and I wanted to thank you for your assistance in sending us to Matamanoa. What a fantastic honeymoon!! What an amazing island!! What wonderful staff!! If I could sell everything and just live there I would in a heartbeat!

I have traveled quite extensively to different parts of the world and have never felt so welcomed. It was also the first time my wife and I have been able to travel internationally together and I don't know how we could top that. The beach front bure is a must! Our biggest challenge was adjusting from our fast paced hectic lives to "FIJI TIME!" I have to tell you when you learn to relax and just take it all in it really is amazing. The only downer of the trip was having to pack our bags and say good-bye.

The local staff made us feel at home. I could go on and on about Seko, Peter, Semi, Tom, Serilo, Anna, Rebecca, Vuni.. to name a few. The songs every night, fishing trips, basket weaving, kava ceremonies, sailing, crab racing, fijian dancing, and snorkeling filled our days with something to do when we wanted activities but the real beauty is being ok with just sitting and staring at the ocean.

I hope you have the chance to make others as happy with this trip as we were.

Thanks again,

Jeff and Jamie D. (Tallahassee, Florida)

The honeymoon was pure paradise! We loved every minute of it and all of the special little touches made it even more special. The kind notes and the great Kauai book are greatly appreciated. They made us feel welcome!

Thank you so much for all of your help and guidance with everything. I will definitely be recommending you to all of my soon-to-be-married friends if they are planning a honeymoon to Hawaii. I wish that we were still there but hope to go back some day.

I have attached a photo for you. We had just arrived at the Four Seasons Wailea after a very long day of traveling and this beautiful scenery was there to greet us!

Dear Mark,
This e-mail is way over due but you have not been forgotten! Molly and I want to thank you SO much for the wonderful and perfect details that you took care of for us regarding our trip to Qamea in February. Qamea could not have been friendlier and nicer. The 2 owners made us and everyone there feel very welcomed and appreciated on a daily basis. All the workers knew our names and made a point to speak to us as much as possible. The rooms were beautifully furnished. The shower was part of our individual bungalow but was outside and a delight to be in. The food was that of a 5 star restaurant. They offered anything we wanted for breakfast and then we ordered our lunch and dinner at breakfast from a choice of 3 entrees for each. There were always lots of fruits and salads offered. Qamea Island Resort is very important to the villagers that live on the island and on Taveuni Island. We were given several opportunities to learn their culture and traditions from interacting with the adult and children living on the islands.

Molly and I ended up scuba diving every day even though it was very overcast and even rained a couple of the days. There were only 5 of us that went scuba diving each day. Ben, the head diving master, had us go on great dives and was always very involved and concerned about our safety and education of the sea life.

Upon our departure all the staff gathered while we boarded a boat to go back to Taveuni Island. EVERY connection that you made for us was right there waiting for us without an exception. We heard some horror stories from some people that did not go through you or Rosie's transportation. Our transportation from Taveuni to Qamea was very special. It was just Molly and I. The owner picked us up at this small airport in Taveuni, drove about 20 minutes to the coast where we met a small motorboat. We met the boat at a very remote piece of beach that was next to some pineapple field and we had to step into the water to get to the boat. Coming back we met at a different spot but just as remote and in the wild.

Well, it was the best vacation ever!! Molly is finishing up her semester at the University of Queensland in Brisbane. Before leaving her we toured Sydney and did scuba diving at Heron Island on the Great Barrier Reef. Our best diving was in Qamea Island. As a tour planner, I think you should go to Qamea. The 2 owners- I forget their names- said that you have sent several guests there and they have had only great things to say about you. The owners work extremely hard to make this a first class resort. You will love it!!!!

Thank you again, Mark!! Write if you have any questions!!

Best regards,
Polly O. (Newport Beach, California)

PS Thank you for calling and checking on us while we were there. That was the nicest thing you did!

Bula Melissa,

Wanted to let you know how awesome Wadigi was. It was truly amazing. We are very fortunate that Hal found you, because I would not have discovered Wadigi on my own. Granted, we did not actually go to the other resort, but I can't imagine it even comes close.

I'm conflicted--I want Wadigi to do well, get all the attention it deserves, yet I don't want anyone else to know about it.

Bula Joanne,

How are you doing? JoJo and I absolutely had a fantastic time. Everything at Taveuni Island Resort was fabulous, from the meals to the activities, and especially the people. The resort was beautiful and the meals were fantastic. I joked that I haven't eaten that well in my entire life (and I probably won't until we return for our anniversary). The flight on Air New Zealand was great without any problems or delays. The staff was extremely courteous and catered to our every needs. Lorna was exceptional in helping us plan our wedding day from the flowers, cake, and choir. She pulled everything together. It was so carefree and relaxed. The only thing I was stressed about was if we were going to get a little rain shower during the ceremony.

Again, I just wanted to say Thank YOU for all your help in making this an unforgettable weddingmoon to Fiji. We couldn't ask for anything more.

Attached are some pictures of our ceremony for you.

Sincerely,

Hi Melissa,

Just wanted to drop you a quick note to thank McCoy Travel for all the help in making our trip to Hawaii a perfect one. I was lucky to stumble into Troy through the internet after spending a tremendous amount of time trying to get a handle on places to stay in Kauai, Maui and Oahu. After providing Troy with a list of places I had been looking at, there were many, he was able to provide a great deal of guidance and advice on the best way to spend my travel dollars. Being Canadian, that's somewhat of a priority, EH!

Troy was great to deal with and understood my budget situation and worked hard to provide me the best bang for our Canadian Buck. He was able to provide a lot of good insight into places to see and things to do. My wife was thrilled with it all and admitted it was well worth the nine flights even though she hates to fly.

I will definitely recommend McCoy Travel to anyone traveling to your part of world.

Bula Lori,
It seems I said that word a million times in Fiji and just for jokes I say it here sometimes. People look at me confused, I just laugh. If they only could experience what I did, they would want to say (Bula), Hello like that all the time.

Anyway, where do I begin, well first off, Rosies travel was wonderful every transfer. We loved Pato. We even took him for lunch to McDonalds, he says he's never had it before, it's to expensive for him to feed his family. Castaway was absolutely breathtaking. I got to see most all the islands on the Tiger IV because Castaway was one of the last stops. I will have to say, this was the most beautiful island of all. Just for kicks, my husband and I took a Catamaran over to Malolo. It was nice. We toured the island, got a drink and just sat back. I'm still glad it worked out with Castaway though. We were going to take a day trip to Mana, the other island we were going to stay on, but a guest did the day trip and said it was okay. He said the Japanese owned the island and that was pretty much who was on the island. That's okay for me, however, he said Castaway is an island of it's own. I did end up getting my certificate for Diving at Castaway. Trudy, Geof's wife was my dive master for my four open water dives. Please tell your Mike at McCoy, that if anyone asks what island to go to get certified, send them to Castaway. With my own experience I would recommend it time and time again. The boat, the dive spots, the people were incredible. So, after leaving with tears from Castaway, and I'm serious, we went on the Blue Lagoon cruise. That was wonderful, the islands we went to, the food and especially the people were great. I got to scuba dive again in the Yasawa islands, that day the current was a little strong, but it worked out great.
Then we were off to Hideaway, we requested Pato again and he gave us a little tour on the way down. The island of Viti Levu is so green and mountainous. The resort at Hideaway was nice, I loved my room, it was very spacious and we had a nice view. The weather was rainy most every day, but the sun was out in the morning until about 1pm. The best part about Hideaway was the people we met. We ended up hanging out with one american, 2 aussies and 2 from england. We ate dinner 4 nights with them. We took a cab to the Outrigger and had dinner there then took another cab to the Warwick and danced until 2:30am. That was fun. I also got to dive at Hideaway, the current was strong again, but the dive experience was great. Mike and I talked such great things about Castaway that our friends wanted
to do a day trip there. Rosies called Castaway and they said they were full for day trippers. Well, we personally called them because we got to know the staff so well over there. They remembered us and let us come over. So on our last day, Saturday, Mike and I had Rosies, Pato again, take us right to the
Harbor to catch the day trip boat and our friends took the bus. He all went BACK to Castaway until 4:15pm. We got back at 6pm, caught our plane and came home. The reason that we wanted to go back is because, it was so stormy and windy that morning we left at first that we did not get to say good bye to
any of our Castaway staff friends, did not get any souvenirs and in all reality, we loved the experince at Castaway sooooooo much, that we wanted to have one more day there. When we got off the boat to Castaway the second time, the Castaway staff that we became close to smiled so big, laughed and
gave us a big hug. They could not believe they saw us again, and neither did we them. So I took pictures of our Castaway staff friends, got my souvenirs and had the time of my life. The friends we brought with us were mesmerized by Castaway, they looked at me and said, "Kari and Mike, thanks for taking us here, this is Paradise". The weather at Hideaway and the beaches were kinda disappointing. The morning of Sat. was raining AGAIN. When we got to the Harbor the sun was blazing and at Castaway the weather
was 80 and sunny AGAIN. The only nice weather we had was in the Mamanuca islands and the Yasawa islands, 80 and sunny every day. When I do it again, I'll go back to that area instead of the Coral Coast. Don't get me wrong, that resort was nice and so were the people, but the experince on Castaway and the cruise I'll never forget.

So that's my story and thank you for all of your accommodations. Fiji was definitely the best vacation I have ever had, thanks to you,Castaway and the Blue Lagoon Cruise.

Hi Melissa,
Thank you for everything you have done. You have gone above and beyond my expectations on this matter. Both myself and Tara as well as my father are very pleased with what will be done for us. I just want to let you know that you will have not only my business in the future, but also the business of my family, friends, and physician colleagues at the hospital. I will be your unofficial Midwest spokesperson for wonderfully put together getaways. I am so glad I came across your website and will be pushing it for anyone I know who wants a wonderful getaway.

Hi Melissa.

We're at Mollies and having a great time. Thank you so much for the flowers and the candy. It was really thoughtful of you.

Last night, Jack, who is the house manager, came to our room and serenaded us and our friends for a couple of hours - played our piano and sang to us -what an experience!

We went all over Auckland yesterday and dropped down the city tower on a rope. Crazy.

Thanks for your help.

Sue,

The trip looks great. Looks like you were able to get Tokoriki for the end as hoped for!

Once again thanks for your help. You've done another wonderful job on short notice. You, as before, have been efficient, knowledgeable and most of all fun to work with! Hopefully Paul and I will be able to go to Fiji now that both sons have done their thing! You'll be the first to know because we'll be asking for your help!

Best wishes to you and your family. Enjoy little Tommy --- they grow up so fast! Before you know it you will be planning a honeymoon too! Just remember, every year gets better. Mine still are!

Sincerely,
Gayle M. (Nashville, Tennessee)

Dear Joanne,
We had the absolutely best time at the Grand Wailea in Maui!! Thank you for all your help and recommendations. We are even considering going back to Maui next March break so I already have a few questions for you. Do you ever get any deals on Suites at the Grand Wailea? Also, we saw a suite at the Fairmont Kea Lani that had a microwave in it and a separate tv area. We found the food delicious but very expensive. Our kids were craving kraft dinner and hotdogs so it would be nice to have a kitchenette area if possible. Any recommendations??

Thanks again for all the travel arrangements. What a great experience.

Melissa/Mike,

I wanted to thank you and your staff for the trip to New Zealand and Tahaa that you planned for us. The trip was great and I still don’t think I have fully returned to reality yet. I was very impressed by the personal attention we received and the quality of your suggestions. I have included a few pictures for you to see.

We need a little mid year get away, that we would like your help with. We are completely flexible on dates, time and location. We are also open to the destination, any place that you would recommend...

P.S. We were the first guests to stay in the new cottage at the Grassmere Lodge (it was great).

Mike, here we are almost to the end of our stay in Rarotonga and having a wonderful time everywhere. We certainly appreciate all the research you did in our behalf and just had a wonderful experience and time at Shangri La Fijian Resort and it seems that Jennifer enjoyed it also. A very good recommendation.

Thanks again.

Kiora Melissa,

I'm in Christchurch at the moment for our quick visit here before our drive down to Queenstown.
I wanted to tell you that we are having a great time and everything is going extremely well. The last Motel in Kaikoura was the best ever. A superb little motel with the best service we have received yet in New Zealand. The further south you go the friendlier the people get. If I were you I would ALWAYS book people to that motel. Another thing, I would always book longer time in Rotorua. The caves are close enough driving distance to there that you can stay in Rotorua and just make the drive out each day to other things to do.The Hotels in Rotorua are great and there are MANY of them everywhere. The Regal Geyserland hotel was perfect and situated right on the thermal area with views out the back balcony right into the mud pots!
A week to go!

Dear Mike,
We wanted to take a moment and say "THANKS" for the great Bora Bora honeymoon package you put together for us. Le Meridien Hotel and their staff were great. The location was perfect. The overwater bungalow we ended up getting was 2nd from the end in the deep water. Awesome resort. Take a look at some of our awesome pictures. (click
here for photo gallery)

Thanks a bunch.

PS: As you may have noticed, Arlene is starting to look for another vacation package. Talk to you soon.

Dear Hiapo,
Just wanted you to know how wonderful our trip to Hawaii was! The condos at Makena Surf and at the Kiahuna Plantations were beautiful and perfect for us. They both had gorgeous views, were very well furnished and were perfect for us. The weather could not have been better and we came home relaxed, full of seafood and tanned. We ate at many great restaurants and found fresh fish and shrimp that we cooked ourselves. It was a shock to come back to brown and grey scenery and weather!!

We ended up up-grading our vehicles as with 4 adults and golf clubs we needed more space. We went from one end of Kauai to the other. Everyone we met was so friendly and helpful.

Thanks for your help, especially given it was such late planning. If (and hopefully when) we can return, we will make sure and give you a call.

Have a nice day,
Marilyn H. (Dickson, Tennessee)

Hi Joanne. We're home. We had such a layover in LA. It was hard to get adjusted to all the noise again. Hana is so quiet. As far as my bag: they couldn't find a driver, so I had them put it on a Pacific Wing flight and it finally got to me on Saturday night. They never did ask for a credit card number or anything, so I don't think I will be paying for it.

Hana was beautiful, and coming from somewhere where it doesn't rain that much, we even enjoyed the rain.

It was so nice to meet you and thank you for all your help.

Hi Mike.

Thanks for setting up our Bora Bora honeymoon. It was awesome and had a really great time. We plan on going back for our 10 year anniversary.

Wanted to ask your opinion on which Carribbean Island would you recommend? I was looking at St. Thomas.

Mike-
As you might recall, my wife Ofelia and I went on our honeymoon last November and you put it together for us. We had an awesome time!
I thought you might like a little feedback:

The Koro Sun was our favorite. By far the best things were the people and the food. The staff were the nicest bunch of people we've ever met - "no" isn't in their vocabulary. Also, the food was extraordinary. 3 meals/day were included in the base price - and we looked forward to every one. Each meal was at least 3 courses, and every lunch and dinner were unique. They grow and harvest all of their own fruit on the land right there - it was fresh everyday and all of it was delicious. The scuba diving was good. The scenery was good. The golf course wasn't in very good shape. There really isn't a beach. The snorkling was very good. The kayaking and mountain biking were also fun. They took us to a Fijian village one evening where many of the workers are from - they did the whole song and dance routine with the Kava et al - great experience. In general Vanua Levu was more laid-back and less commercialized than Viti Levu, and the people were more friendly. We went into Savu-Savu one of the days, and the best part was the bus ride with the locals.

Natadola Beach Resort was nice and we had a great time there, but in general it didn't feel quite as much like home as the Koro Sun. The food isn't all-inclusive and wasn't nearly as good (but it wasn't bad by any means). The beach was nice - lots of entrepreneurs trying to sell you horseback rides and various trinkets. Great snorkeling right off of the beach. Staff was nice, but not as warm as at the Koro Sun. We went into Nadi one of the days, and it was ok - but a few people were quite rude.

Overall we would recommend both places that we stayed, but we would rather return to the Koro Sun.

All in all we had an incredible honeymoon, and we'd like to thank you for helping us get it all together.

Thanks-
John B. and Ofelia S. (Chicago, Illinois)

Bula Melissa,

THANK YOU!!!! Mike and I had the best vacation we have ever had!! Namale is fabulous, Fiji is beautiful and the people we met made the vacation wonderful! There was a Life Mastery seminar going on the week we were there, so aside from the interior designers (that were very busy) and then the photographers (Namale is going to be featured in a magazine this summer), Mike and I were the only people there. We had a ball!!! We loved our bure (Nanise), the weather was fabulous, we ate lunch almost every day at the blow hole deck, loved going to church in Vivilli, the food was delicious, adored the fiji people. Especially Isaac and Nui, from the dive shop. We spent most of our days down by the pool, Mike played ping pong with all the guys while I laid in the pool. We snorkeled and saw a shark and Nui helped me conquer my fear of scuba diving and I went twice. I don't think I let go of his hand once when we were under the water. He was so kind and helpful and really wanted me to have a good time, it was my favorite part of our vacation. I still can't believe that I actually went diving!

Just wanted to let you know how great our vacation was and I wanted to thank you for arranging it all for us, the trip to and from went as great as it could considering how long we flew, but we never encountered any problems.

We will definitely be going back to Namale, hopefully sooner rather than later! Thanks again!

McCoy Travel ,
I just remembered, Ashley and I never sent you pictures from our Fiji honeymoon in November at Matamanoa. This island was wonderful, a perfect blend of activities and relaxation. The best part about this island was making friends with the staff and the SNORKELING!! It was my first time and I was amazed! The whole island was surrounded by our own private reef. It was beautiful and very private. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone wanting a private island getaway without having to spend a fortune. Great food, songs and serenades every night at dinner, trips to the staff's village.....I could go on and on. Not to mention the fact we never missed a transfer! Everything was perfectly planned. Thanks for making our honeymoon so perfect McCoy Travel!!

I attached pictures. One is at First Landing, the other is our nightly view from our patio on Matamanoa. We were very spoiled with perfect sunsets.

Thanks again!!

We had a wonderful time in Maui! Our condo at the Kaanapali Alii was fabulous. My wife and kids and I all liked the fact that we were right on the beach and could come and go from our patio door. We thoroughly enjoyed the Old Lahaina Luau and had a great time on the whale watching trip. We got to see many whales right from our condo as well.

Thanks for arranging everything. I'm sure we will be back in touch with you when our travel plans include Hawaii or Polynesia.

Thanks again.
