We had a fabulous trip!!! Everything was perfect! Viwa is THE place to go in Fiji for sure. I'm still slowly getting all of the pictures downloaded but I will definately send you some. It's just taking a little time trying to do that and take care of the baby now that we're back. Thank you so much again!!! You and the McCoy team have been wonderful and the staff at Viwa are truly out of this world! They are a rare bunch, beyond welcoming and nice. I have never experienced anything like them in my life and can't wait to go back. Johnny and I made some life long friends :)

On out return trip the catamaran broke down so we had to spend a few hours waiting at Octopus Resort for them to send another boat out and I am so happy we stayed at Viwa after spending a few hours at Octopus. Viwa puts Octopus to shame! Lol, that's just my honest opinion if course. The privacy, the beaches, the staff, and just the overall experience is so much better at Viwa and I recommend Viwa to everyone wanting to visit Fiji. I doubt I'll ever stay anyplace else.

The only recommendation I could say to anyone going there is to maybe buy your alcohol, sunblock and things like that on the main island before you head out to Viwa because they are very expensive but it's understandable because they are not on the main route to receive supplies but that's the only sort of negative thing I could say about them.

The wedding was perfect! I could not have dreamed of anything more and our private dinner in the beach was just a perfect end to a perfect night. The chef and food is amazing!! I have never and probably will never have a lobster that phenomenal!! I could probably go on for days but I'll try to save some of my gratitude for when I send pictures. Thank you again Faye! Our trip was something you can only dream about!!!

First off my wife and I would like to thank you and Mike for making this happen for us on such short notice. The information provided by your team was very useful for getting around and planning our stay at Tambua Sands. It was nice to have such wonderful help choosing a destination.

The trip was many more times the experience that we had expected. Upon arrival, we had a cheerful greeting followed by very friendly and helpful service from the staff at the resort. We took full advantage of having the resort to ourselves for the first few days of our stay; truly a romantic time for my wife and I. During this time we made friends with some of the staff and it was this that opened our eyes and adventures with the local Fijian villagers. We had hoped to get a chance to share in the local way of life while on the island. We expected to have to work at a friendship before sharing in their culture but found the opposite to be true. It was no trouble at all getting close to the people and as in any relationship it is a give and take effort to get to know each other and truly find a peace. These new friendships opened the door to the entire village and it is there that our hearts remain. Soon it was clear that the resort was only going to be used for a place to sleep. The remainder of the time was spent in the village sharing in their way of life. Unforgettable and life changing is the only way to describe this vacation.

We did have a chance to venture off and look at other parts of the island in Fiji. It was good to see, but it was always nice to return to the quiet setting of Tambua Sands and the staff there. Here we knew each others names, stopped to visit, and spent genuine time together. A visit to the neighboring resorts reinforced that we had made the correct decision in regards to a resort destination.

Thank you again for helping us establish a new group of friends that we will always cherish and remember. Your services will go highly recommended to our friends, family, and co-workers. I hope that they take advantage of your committed service as we will be sure to encourage it. Also, sleep well knowing that our next vacation will start with your team. Our trip to Fiji, Royal Davui and to Queenstown, The Rees Hotel was the trip of a lifetime!
Royal Davui was an experience in luxury, with wonderful personal attention by the entire staff, combined with 3 extraordinary diving experiences that will never be forgotten including the Beqa Lagoon Shark dive.

The Rees Hotel accomodations consisted of a brand new beautiful 2BR apartment (with full kitchen and dining area) with a patio, balcony and an incredible panoramic view of the lake and the Remarkables. Queenstown, which was a lot of fun (including happening bars, restaurants, a day of skiing, flights to and from Milford Sound and Keagan and keenan's Bungy Jump). Incredible combination of a wonderful South Pacific experience combined with really fun adventures in 8 inches of snow in Queenstown. So we are very grateful for your direction and assistance. Thank You for finding the Rees and arranging the trip so seemlessly.

When we arrived in Queenstown we learned that a very large snow storm was about to arrive! We tried to rearrange our itinerary but the airport was closed for the next 3 days so we were able to make arrangements with another service to fly to and from Milford Sound which was another incredible experience.

We are all quite grateful for your able assistance and am particularly thankful that you came to our rescue when we were abandoned by our previous travel agent. You listened well to our desires and kept working until matching arrangements were put into place so Thank You again Faye!

We had a great time in Hawaii. Thank you so much, we had a room upgrade in both hotels. The room at Halekulani had great ocean front view and upon check in they surprised us with a bottle of champagne and a Happy Birthday note which was very sweet. At the Ritz-Carlton Kapalua we were upgraded to a suite. I could have not asked for better rooms :) Our domestic flight was also smooth and with no delays.

Thank you for helping with our wonderful trip. There were absolutely no glitches at the airports (all 8 flights!) -all went as planned. We were very pleased with all the resorts we stayed in. The Outrigger was perfect for Oahu, and we loved Duke's food. The Hilton Waikoloa and Grand Hyatt were both spectacular. Annette helped us with activities, all of which we enjoyed very much. Backcountry Adventures provided a fabulous zip line tour in Kauai and at the advice of a friend, we went on a boat in Oahu through Dolphin Excursions. We highly recommend them. Jenna was an outstanding captain.
Thanks again for an extremely memorable trip. We will certainly use McCoy again.

It was great! Anna did great on the crutches. The only thing she did not do was the surfing lessons – but she went snorkeling and boogie boarding and helicopter riding and we hiked to Twin Falls – it was beautiful. When Anna put her crutches on the security belt at the airport as we were leaving – a bunch of ocean water came out – (they are the aluminum kind) - Ickk!!

The Kea Lani was the perfect choice. The villa was beautiful and the service was awesome. Our favorite dinner was when the chef came to the villa and grilled for us. I grilled once too!

It's good to hear from you. Our honeymoon was great. Taveuni Island Resort provided us with a luxurious and intimate experience. Our spacious bungalow had great views of the water. The meals made up of fresh local meat and produce were delicious. The staff was very friendly and provided us with great service - our last night at the resort, we enjoyed a private candlelit dinner in a gazebo overlooking the ocean. The resort activities were fun - we did lots of scuba diving, kayaking, horseback riding and jogging.

We definitely would recommend the resort to anyone who's interested in visiting Taveuni!

Our honeymoon was magnificent! Every vacation we have taken seemed to go by so fast but that did not happen in Maui. Things seemed to slow down which made us feel like we were there for more than a week. We were very happy with our choice of the Sheraton Maui. The beach was definitely the best beach we have ever been to and the snorkeling at Black Rock was just as described. We even got to see a pod of dolphins from our lanai! Also, everyone at the resort was very nice and some of the workers told us about other good snorkeling spots on the island. We did the road to Hana and traveled to the summmit of Haleakala Crater. We also traveled to some of the beaches on the south side of of the island. The weather, of course, was gorgeous. Our friends back in Ohio were jealous as temperatures there were 95-100 degrees. Overall, the trip was perfect. The only bad part of the trip was seeing the beach go out of view from the plane window on the flight home. In regards to your help in planning our trip, I could not have asked for more. After hearing about our travels, my parent's are thinking about going to Maui and I'll definitely recommend that they contact you. Also, I want to say thank you for the nice gifts we received upon arrival at our resort. If we travel to Hawaii or another island destination we will definitely work with you again. Thanks again for all of your help.

I won't be near a phone for the next few days wanted to let you know that we did receive your phone message and that the Fiji trip was great. Different as they were, both resorts met our expectations (which were high). The staff at both resorts were delightful - sincerely welcoming and willing to accommodate every request. In both cases, the staff were a special highlight and greatly enhanced our vacation experience. It was impressive to see how proud of their country all of the Fijians were and their joy at showing visitors the heart of Fiji.

Jenny at Nukubati was the ultimate host - she even went so far as to give Aviva her own bure. Obviously this was greatly appreciated both by ourselves and by Aviva. The food, service and accommodation at Nukubati were all excellent. Furthermore, the diving and snorkelling on the Great Sea Reef was phenomenal and Jenny's dive operation was extremely professional. As a side note, the Fiji Orchid was a wonderful refuge from the noise and bustle of Nadi. This is definitely where anyone having a layover in Nadi should stay.

The weather during our trip 6/2-6/6 did not particularly cooperate nor did we really enjoy the hotel selected by the wedding party but the airline, rental car, etc arragements were rather impeccable. I contacted Lauren regarding possibly changing hotels and she even answered me back during her own vacation.

Hope you are well! Thank you so much for arranging our trip. Mike and I loved Hawaii! We had the best time and didn’t want to come back.

We loved the Marriott Wailea. It was really perfect. We surfed on our first day in Lahaina, we did the drive to Hana and came back the other way, ate at Mama’s Fish House and did lots of shopping in Lahaina and Paia. Oh, and went to the Luau at the hotel.

In the Big Isle we did a helicopter tour (which was amazing), zip lined over Umauma Falls, drove to the top of the volcano and saw tons of waterfalls. The Fairmont Orchid was really nice, and we were upgraded to the gold level which was lovely. We got a nice bottle of champagne from you the first night at the Fairmont with a nice note, so thank you very much for that! It was a really nice touch. I would definitely go back – the flight is very long though.

Just back from our great trip. Your suggestion of Royal Davui was absoltuely perfect. Exactly what we were looking for. We probably would not have ended up at Davui without your good guidance. So thank you for your excellent and thoughtful advice.

We were in Bure 3, per your suggestion, and it was magnficient. Perhaps the best thought out resort room we ever stayed in, and the view was everything we could have hoped. If and when we go back, we'll probably try Bure 5 (which was already spoken for during our week) since it appears to have a grand location as well.

The Air Pacific Departure lounge passes were hugely appreciated. The general departure lounge at Nadi is, as you know, a bit on the noisy and crowded side. So getting to spend the hours before our departure in the Air Pacific lounge was a HUGE benefit. Thanks for getting that for us.

We wanted to thank you for all of your hard work on our Fiji/Namale trip. It was absolutely perfect!!

I know we spent a lot of time trying to figure out which place to stay and then which room to stay in, and we wouldn’t change a thing- we loved Namale and its people, as well as, our room, Civa. We were so impressed by how friendly all the people were at Namale and how comfortable they made us feel. And I think Melissa was right when she summed up Namale as being “comfy”. Everywhere you went and sat, it was so comfortable!! We thoroughly enjoyed hanging out at our room, enjoying the pool and reading our books. The food was unbelievable as well, with such fresh fish, fruit and vegetables! And different fresh bread daily!!! And the wine list was also very good.

It was nice to have everything all inclusive, so you didn’t have to think about prices.

We also got to meet Louisa and her husband, as they were staying there for a few days. She is very nice and we were glad that we met her.

It is definitely a place where we would want to go back to and especially, stay in the same room. It was so difficult to leave Namale- we felt so comfortable there and so relaxed!!! And their good bye song and gathering was such a nice treat- we will think of the people at Namale for years to come, and remember their warm smiles, friendly “bula bula’s” and hospitality.

Our flights did get changed on the last day, but it worked out fine. We were able to get on an earlier flight out of Suva to Nadi, so we didn’t have a 4 hour layover there (which was nice because there is nothing there!). We arrived at Nadi and heard there was a Raffles across the street, so went over there with a family that we met on the plane (coming and going), and hung out there. They were very friendly there and allowed us to hang out at the pool or the bar until our flight, free of charge. The Tabua lounge at Nadi was also very nice and was very comfortable to sit in. Business/Tabua class on Air Pacific was also fine- I expected the worst and was pleasantly surprised. We were able to get some sleep, which was nice. The seats had a footrest and reclined ¾ of the way, which was good.

It would have been nice to fly direct from Nadi to Savusavu, however, you expect some of the delays/cancellations due to the fact that they are small islands and there is weather issues. And what can you do? So, all in all, that wasn’t too bad either.

We really appreciate everything you did and for making it such a pleasant vacation-worry free! We were very impressed by you and McCoy Travel and would definitely use you in the future. We can’t thank you enough!!!

We had a wonderful trip to Fiji. Sorry for the delayed response as we have both been extremely busy with work since we returned....good thing we got away when we did.

The resort was absolutely great. The week we were at Namale was also the first week for the new general managers; however, you would not have known as the resort workers are just extremely good. The first night there was only one other couple and then two more arrived later. Therefore, we were very much pampered.

My single favorite experience was the opportunity to interact with the people living in the villages. They were very open about their lifestyle, their history and their customs. We took the opportunity to visit the village and see first hand how they live. It was an incredible learning experience that I was not counting on.

I could share much more; but, time is limited.

We loved our Fiji experience! Everything was as we expected. Diving was super. Mark and Sue at the Beqa Lagoon Island Resort we awesome hosts. We enjoyed their hospitality, conversation and first hand experiences. They really knew the island and the people. The food was attractive, delicious and my children found new foods to try and enjoy.

The room was spacious, relaxing, and so comfortable. Quiet. Very Quiet. We loved to sit on our deck and listen to the ocean and quiet! Our children were forced to converse with us! Dinners were family style and we enjoyed conversation with new friends, our hosts, and especially our children. Rosie's travel was prompt, professional and the airline room was a nice touch. My daughter enjoyed a massage, my husband and son took a relaxing shower.

Our single favorite experience was the diving ~ unanimously. Beqa Resort provided superb diving. The Dive team did a top notch job with gear, assistance and choosing locations. Diving was like being in a beautiful aquarium Everyone at the Resort was so friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean, attractive and the beds were heavenly! There was so much offered for us to try. I regret not having a Spa experience, but others found them relaxing. We went to visit the school. We enjoyed the choir and Meke dancers that came to the resort. The firewalkers were astounding as well. Thank you so much for your fine coordination and service. You anticipated our needs and any problems we would encounter with your emails which helped guided us through our visit. We can't wait to do this again with you.

Hiapo did a marvelous job for us right from the first time I contacted him. He asked what kind of vacation we wanted, then gave me options of places to go. He even told me that it would brown and dry on the Kona side, which would have been a surprise to me, had he not said anything.

I am so glad we chose Kona Village. All of the staff at the Village were pleasant and accommodating. They were able to answer all questions and direct us to where we needed to be, always with a smile. Our ocean view hale was a wonderful home away from home. We slept comfortably and, after a day out and about, came back to a tidy, clean environment. Even though we did not drink many of the complimentary beverages in the frig, it was always restocked. They did provide us with more coffee, as we are regular coffee hounds.

Although we did not participate in any Village daytime events, it was nice they are available for those who care to. Highlights for me at Kona Village were the luaus, the one on Friday especially. All meals were outstanding and we appreciate the option of choosing menu or buffet. Again, the staff was always very attentive, pleasant, and accommodating.

The Manager's Reception on Wednesday was a pleasant surprise. We met Cindy and Ulrich and had very pleasant conversations with each them. Both very graciously took a picture of the two of us. We even got a picture of Glenn, myself and Cindy. When we arrived the first day, Ulrich had a bottle of champagne waiting for us in celebration of our 5th anniversary. (Thank you, Hiapo for mentioning that!)

Annette booked two excursions for us, one with Dolphin Discoveries and the other with Blue Hawaiian Helicopters. Both were OUTSTANDING.

The only "downer" at the Village was having to leave. Kona Village is definitely on our "places to return" list. We are hoping to bring friends the next time. And last, but not in the least bit, the least, THANK YOU, HIAPO for the pleasant surprise of a fruit plate when we arrived. Even though it was a short flight, it had been a long day, the the fresh fruit was SO refreshing!

I have posted a comment on Trip Advisor, recommending both Kona Village and McCoy Travel. In each instance the customer service and attention to detail was outstanding. This vacation will definitely stand out in my mind as one of the best ones I've ever had.

We had an amazing experience at Namale. It was the most fun we have ever had. The food was amazing! The staff went well out of there way at all times to make sure that we were happy. Every person that we met greeted us with Bula. Every person! It is a place that we will definitely return to.

Everything was fantastic on Maui! Hana was awesome, a magical trip.
Also all the places that you recommended to us, including the trip to Molokini yesterday, where we swam with the turtles. Valentina is still in shock.
We're going now to the Luau, and we're very excited about it. Tomorrow we'll be going to the Haleakala, so we haven't stoped a moment since we arrived on Maui.
We don't really have words to thank you both for all the kindness that you've given us, making this first leg of our honeymoon, an incredible and unforgettable stay at Maui, since the first moment that Fabian put us in touch with Lori, until the last emails and phone calls with Annette, adjusting details of the activities. The hotel, all the tips that you gave to us, everything.

Dear Faye,

We thank you so much for your help in planning this trip to Beqa Lagoon Resort in Fiji. Our room and all the accommodations were exactly as advertised. The food was above par that is for sure. The massages were reasonable and great also at this resort. We especially enjoyed the preflight home in the Rosie's lounge. That was a big treat, with the comfort and the massage. Thank you so much for that. We did get the hotel day room which worked out great.

We did not mind the rain as our goal was to snorkel but only got about 3 days of snorkeling and a storm many miles away goofed up the water making it very cloudy.
The second week we had mostly sunny weather and after a few days the waters cleared up. Swam with a 7 foot white tip shark in front of the resort. Now that was more than we asked for thank you very much. We hiked to the waterfall and believe me even the youngsters were having a hard time. A very difficult hike but made it and loved it. Too bad the sweat or waterfall washed all the bug spray off as we got really bitten coming back. Only 5 of us made this hike and 3 of them and the guide were under 30. So being over 70 was tough.

Thank you for your wishes. We had a great trip. Caroline made sure to take care of the little details for us which made the trip very special.

I've been looking for special business class flights and thought you might know of some good deals on flights to Austrailia. Also, any suggestions you might have for seeing the country and good hotel deals would be appreciated. I do not want 5-star hotels on this trip. I am going to research the area in the next week or so so I have an idea of the terain.

Hello Faye,

We returned from the mild temperatures of Hawaii to the frigid cold of North Dakota; wish the weather could have been packed in the little room we had left in our luggage.

I want to personally thank you for the great trip you arranged for us. We all enjoyed this much needed vacation and your meticulous planning of our flights/lodging made it that much more enjoyable! We were very pleased with the lodging. Great views and easy access to the pool areas. Considering the locations of each condo unit and the plus/minus's of each; we certainly felt fortunate to have the unit that you placed us in. Where you rest and relax can certainly make or break an enjoyable vacation; and your great work in arranging the perfect lodging for us guaranteed that our vacation was enjoyable.

Overall I rate your performance as our Vacation Advisor as an A+ and will highly recommend you to family and friends for their vacations and I can assure you that you will be hearing from us to plan our next family vacation.

The only hiccup we experienced with the travel arrangements is Alamo charged us for an additional day for 1/2/11 since our flight did not leave until 9:40 PM.

Please extend our thanks to Annette Rawlings for the equally great work she did in arranging our activities. We enjoyed each and every activity she recommended. The only disappointment was the fishing trip; we didn't catch any fish! Too bad you can't arrange the fish's travel plans to intersect with our boat. Let us know when you will be adding this service as well. All kidding aside; the crew of the charter boat were very professional and tried very hard to find the fish and the experience will be remembered by all. Our favorite was the Molokini snorkeling. We were fortunate to have a clear day with calm waters; and lucky enough to have plenty of dolphin and whale sightings/viewing on top of the fish and turtles.

Thanks again to all at McCoy Travel for a great vacation that will be eternally remembered by the entire family. It will be a challenge to top this vacation; but we'll definitely be contacting you in the future to help us attempt an even better sequel.

Bula Faye,

We had a great trip. Robert enjoyed the dives and I was the snorkeler. The last cyclone did a lot of damage to the reef in front of the hotel, but there were fish and it appears to be coming back. There wasn't a lot to do on Taveuni when we were out of the water except relax, but that is what vacations are for. All the transfers went smooth, the people are very friendly and helpful and we enjoyed our stay at Garden Island resort. It was great to stay with other people that are there for the diving for the week. We didn't get the meal package, but glad we didn't. The choices were limited and gave us a reason o explore other areas.
Faye did a great job of putting our package together and answering all questions and concerns. Fun and memorable trip.
