Cindy -
I'm sooooooooo sorry. I can't tell you what a world wind it has been since I got back from vacation and I just have no excuse for not getting back with you sooner. Please, please forgive me. I will give you a call, but I did want to mention just a few things. First of ALL, it was just amazing! The people, the people the people. You should know that God put us there for much more than a vacation. As you may or may not know, my husband and I also do mission work. We both travel quite a bit with our ministry and little did we know what we were really sent to Fiji for on that island! We spent more time with the people in the villages than ones at the resort. We went to church and we planted a church! Can you believe that! I can't spell all these names right, but we installed a new Pastor and our first member. The food was just amazing. The water, the peace....it was just amazing.
We loved the private dining places and the night I requested was just as planned and beautiful at during the most amazing sunset.
We want to go back again and plan to at least twice next year.
It was great having the day rooms coming and going.
I can do without Kava..lol Not my cup of tea, but we loved the experience.
I would tell anyone and everyone to go here. This was a dream vacation. We had the best time, it was like a honeymoon all over again and I would do it again in heartbeat! We made friends for life and talk to our Fiji family weekly. We LOVED the POINT! But I know we can't afford that stay...lol
I thank you for being such a beautiful person. I thank you because you made this trip effortless and personal. I thank you because I was able to trust you and we didn't have not one problem coming, going, or during our stay.
We plan to travel a few times next year and I would like to use you as often as I can. Please tell me where all you book and you can count on us as customers for life!
PS..I met your driver and for the life of me can't remember his name. We met him on the way back and said he knows you well. He wishes we would have met him coming in and he would have been our guide. So next time we are to ask for him. I think his name is Pontay? Something like that..lol He said you would know. He gets our thumbs up and we enjoyed his company. Next time, we get him the whole trip!
Have a blessed Christmas and lets chat soon!
Blessings

Hello to all at McCoy Travel. I was just reading over an email that was sent from Customer Care. Prior to this I received a phone call from McCoy Travel thanking me for choosing them for my vacation needs.
I just want to say thanks so much to all of you and especially Cindy for all the help and time spent making this the best vacation ever. Our trip hasn't even begun yet, and McCoy Travel has exceeded my expectations.
Thanks so much!

Ron at Qamea Resort,
I just wanted to send a quick note and circle back with you. My name is Z. Wiley and I live in San Francisco. You and I spoke for a few minutes on the phone several months ago. I think I got you in Mexico at the time. I was asking for your advice on travel agents and you told me that you knew Cindy and thought she and McCoy were very professional. I have since booked my honeymoon with Cindy and we will be spending 8 days at Qamea in August, the 6th – 14th I think. Cindy has been great to work with and from day one has spoken very highly of you, your staff and the resort.
Anyway, your feedback was helpful and much appreciated. And I wanted to thank you and let you know that we are very much looking forward to our trip.

Melissa –
I’ve already shared a bunch of feedback with Cindy directly over the phone yesterday, but here are the highlights:
- In Fiji, Rosie’s was absolutely wonderful. They were perfectly on time for every single van transfer, the drivers were always very friendly, helpful, and accommodating. My nervousness about bouncing around in Fiji with two small girls quickly was put to rest, as soon as I realized that we could trust Rosie’s to take good care of us while we were there, and help us if we ever ran into trouble (which we never did).
- Overall, I was very happy with the way Cindy planned our whole trip for us, particularly the Fiji part. If I had tried to do this all myself, things definitely would not have gone so smoothly. She took care of booking all our private van and boat transfers, booked us into day rooms at the Raffles Gateway hotel which was very useful for us to freshen up before our long flight home, and did a perfect job of arranging the timing and logistics of everything. We had no issues at all with the itinerary she put together for us. I’m very glad I decided to book this vacation through McCoy Travel rather than going solo, which I was originally planning to do.
- Castaway Island Resort was amazing. The beach was gorgeous, swimming pool fabulous, the Kids Club a life-saver, and the staff so friendly. I would highly recommend Castaway to anyone traveling to Fiji. The snorkeling right off the beach was some of the best snorkeling I’ve ever done.
- Hideaway Resort (Coral Coast) was okay …
- All of the air travel was fine … no real issues there. I would say that Qantas definitely provides a higher level of service than Air Pacific, so I’d definitely prefer to fly Qantas when there is a choice (which I understand there usually isn’t).

Melissa/Cindy:
The trip was fantastic. Beqa is a fantastic place to unwind, snorkel and scuba. I managed to screw up my courage enough to take an introductory scuba dive.
The people at Beqa were warm, friendly and helpful. The accommodations and food were right at the level I have come to expect and I think overall the value for money is excellent. I would be happy to recommend this spot to others.
The only soft spot for me was the 1 night at the Pearl Hotel which I felt, compared to Beqa, was considerable;y overpriced. However, it was only one night and it was needed given that a night crossing to Beqa was not available. Overall my complaint is a minor one.
Many thanks to Cindy for the initial recommendation and work on the ticketing.
Happy New Year to all of you and thanks again for a great vacation.
Best regards,

Cindy,
We had a fantastic
time in Fiji and the only downside was that we had to leave! The whole
trip from start to finish went absolutely perfect. Rosie's was beyond
compare, as they were right there when we needed them.
As for Plantation Island, it was absolutely cool to go back there and
see just how much change had occurred over 30 years (I was there last
in the 1969-ish time frame as a 12-yr old) and barely recognized the
place, but it was fun and comfortable. The Blue Lagoon Cruise exceeded
my every expectation, as that cruise essentially immersed us in the
Fijian culture by both the crew being all Fijian, the places we visited
including a Fijian village, and the hospitality -- not to mention the
Kava, yum yummmm! I can surely recommend a few high tides to each of
my friends!
Diving was absolutely fantastic!
Saw all kinds of cool stuff including reef sharks, moray eels, blue
spotted rays, octopus, and of course fish of every size, shape, and
color. Did two dives in the Yasawas and another 6 near Matangi Island.
But our stay at Matangi was
just awesome! As it turned out we and another couple were the only guests
on the island for the better part of the week. When we left, 3 new couples
arrived, so I felt I had to turn the island over to them, which I really
hated to do. But the Matangi staff stopped at nothing to make every
wish come true, including candlelight dinners and letting us reserve
their own Horseshoe Bay (on 2 separate occasions) for our own use --
and get this, they let us tell them *what* we wanted to do and *when*
we wanted to do it, not the other way around like at most resorts with
predefined activity schedules. Awesome!! Mr & Mrs Douglas are very
nice people. We met their dogs, their chickens, one of their bulls on
the coastal trail (that was fun navigating around on a narrow path!),
their goats, and their pet bat, Jonathan.
So, in a nutshell we thoroughly
enjoyed our 25th anniversary trip to Fiji.
And we have you to thank for helping us to make it happen. We especially
are real glad we had a hotel room upon Nadi arrival and departure as
that made it easy to clean-up and reconfigure before proceeding onward.
And both the accommodations and service were up to our expectations
throughout our vacation.
Cindy, thanks again for all
your help. As I've mentioned several times to you in the past you are
very professional, have been very helpful in every aspect, and an expert
in the fine art of travel advice. I'd like to leave you with a picture
of us on the last day, on the deck of the restaurant on Matangi, with
the island of Qamea in the background. Just look at those happy faces,
not happy to leave but just plain happy (sounds sappy, I know).

| Hello
Cindy,
Matt and I are back from our fabulous honeymoon at Maravu
Plantation Resort on Taveuni Island in Fiji. It was phenomenal!
It was the trip of a lifetime.
I think that the best part about it was our bure. I’m sure that
we had the best one there! We stayed in a Honeymoon Deluxe Bure. It
had the most beautiful view of the ocean! I was under the impression
that we may not have an ocean view and was extremely surprised and happy
when we did. The bure was very well kept and the private tub with the
waterfall was to die for!
We are not divers, but did do some snorkeling and found that to be wonderful
as well. We also took advantage of the massage bure at the resort. Flo
and Mere are terrific! We made it to the Bouma waterfalls, but are convinced
that there should be a warning about the hike to the second waterfalls.
It was very hot when we were there and the hike is very rigorous. The
second waterfall was worth the sore legs though. It was gorgeous! On
another day, we went on the half day west coast tour. The church was
spectacular! The dateline, although there’s not much there, is
also a definite must. The natural waterslides were extremely fast due
to the rain, but we went down anyway. Wow!
The food at the resort was good. Matt enjoyed it more than I did because
I’m not a seafood eater. The menu was quite limited for someone
who doesn’t like fish or other sea creatures, but I never left
a meal hungry. Matt still raves that the lobster was the best he’s
ever had. The thing I thought was great was that we were able to drink
the water right out of our tap. We refilled our water bottles everyday
and kept them in the refrigerator in our room so they were cold for
the next day’s adventures. We drank a lot of water during the
week!
People have asked if I would go back and I’m torn on my answer.
If money and time were no object, I would still be there! I would definitely
go back to Fiji someday. I would recommend Maravu in a heartbeat. Now
that I’ve been to Taveuni, I would like to try a different island
though.
Thank you so much for assisting us in our honeymoon planning! It really
was a wonderful experience and we will be in touch when we can return
to Fiji!
Thank you!

| Dear
Cindy,
I wanted to thank you for all your help in finding the perfect place
for Susan and I to begin our lives together. Namale
was an amazing place, but the greatest charm of Fiji has to be its people.
I have never met people who were so gracious. The people of Savusavu
will always hold a special place in our hearts. I didn't realize that
Savusavu would have such lush tropical rain forests and it was great
to go horseback riding to see the island and all it had to offer.
I have already started spreading the gospel about Fiji and I will be
sure to refer you to anyone who is looking to go on a great vacation.
All the best.

| Hi
Cindy,
I wanted to email you and thank you for all the hard work you put into
our Honeymoon. We have gotten back safe and sound and have been busy
getting back into our new reality of life (being married). I just thought
it would be nice to let you know that everything went really well.
Sydney was beautiful (a little cold) but a city to see. We stayed at
the Sydney Harbor Marriott - our view was of the Harbor Bridge (amazing)
the walk to the opera house was 5 minutes. The people in Sydney
are very nice and the city beautiful.
Fiji
was warm and welcoming. All the flights were great. Rosie travel services
were very real nice, they dropped us off in our own private car and
even let us leave some luggage safely in there office so we did not
have to lug it around. The fun part was the little plane we took with
sun air – it was so small. Fiji was gorgeous, the beautiful green
mountains to the white sandy beaches to the crystal clear water. The
flight to Qamea
Beach Resort alone was worth it passing over the blue water and
seeing all different shades from dark blue to light blue (right out
of a picture) was breath taking. The arrival in Qamea was wonderful.
They picked us up in a Land Rover took us to a short boat ride to our
destination. Everyone on the island was so friendly. The room was so
much better then I would have imagined. Very new and clean I give in
a 5+. The staff was so nice to us and welcoming. First day we played
a bit of volleyball with another couple and just relaxed. The food was
wonderful they made about everything. The only disappointing thing was
the 4 days we there it rained for all 4 days. The day we were leaving
it was sunny and hot with no clouds in the sky. I wished we stayed for
the full 7 days. Ron the owner was also on the island and remembered
us because of all the commotion with booking us. He was friendly and
made us feel welcomed.
We were really sad when it came
time to board that boat and head home. They gave us a great Farwell.
They walked us to the boat and played the guitar. It was sad but really
nice. Overall we had a great time. We will have to visit Fiji again
and hope for better weather lol. Thank you very much for all your help
Cindy. Also your thank you card was a very nice thing to send. I hope
in the near future we will get to work together again.
Take care,

| Hi
Cindy,
Sorry it has taken me so long to respond regarding our review of Fiji.
Fiji is all about water!!! Incredible turquoise blue water right out
front including great swimming, great sand, fun/funky "bar"
at beach, and good snorkeling - awesome!! The dive spots are incredible!!!!!!!
My favorite was the "Disneyland" snorkel. In summary, I was
glad we went to Fiji; wonderful people!
We're off to Australia in Nov/Dec without kids. We have a 3-day layover
in Fiji and want to sail the Yasawas on a cat. Any ideas seeing as you
lived there?
Thanks,
Lori

| Hi
Cindy,
I just wanted to say Thank you so much for recommending Namale
Resort. We had a fabulous honeymoon! The place was so amazing. We
were upgraded to the Honeymoon suite for the entire time since it was
available. Luckily you booked it for the honeymoon suite the last 4
days otherwise we probably wouldn't have been upgraded because when
we got there, the place wasn't nearly to full capacity but when we left
it was full. Everyone was so super nice in Fiji and especially at Namale.
I was a little nervous about being lost once we got to each destination
spot but everyone was right there directing us exactly where to go and
what to do. It was really a first class vacation and we had a great
time!
Also for your information when sending people here, the service and
the resort and the atmosphere are so top of the line and first class
but the food and alcohol should have been better for the $$. The dive
team was very nice and ultra safe.
The diving was very good there but it would have been nice to be taken
to the highly recommended Nemana area . Other than that we truly had
a spectacular honeymoon and are very happy with our decision to book
this resort and with you specifically and I would recommend your services
to others should anyone ask about traveling.
Thank you again for all your work on making this a great honeymoon destination
and also to go soooo smoothly was fantastic. As soon as I see some pictures,
I will forward a couple to you. They are on digital camera and my husband
has the software on his computer so he needs to download them and e-mail
them to me.

| Bula,
First Id like to thank Cindy
for planning such a wonderful wedding/honeymoon destination for us.
We couldn't have picked a more perfect, intimate, romantic place to
be. We had not one problem traveling to and from. Rosies was great.
Matamanoa is just awesome, what a beautiful island. I would recommend
Matamanoa to anyone, especially weddingmooners. The staff were some
of the nicest people we have ever met. We made sure we went to the village
to see where most of them lived.
Our bure was great. When we checked in we had #7 and we had requested
a higher bure # because of the sunsets and the staff moved us immediately.
I would definitely recommend a higher number bure we had # 20 and it
was perfect. The most incredible sunsets we have ever seen. Peter the
wedding coordinator was wonderful. He got together with us the second
we arrived to the island to go over our wedding plans. We had the most
amazing wedding on the beach. The day of our wedding the weather was
great, but very windy. We actually moved our wedding time up because
the afternoons the wind picks up so, but that day it was windy all day.
Our weather wasn't the greatest the week we went, we had some very cloudy
days the last day it rained all day. But we were happy to be there and
the staff made the best of every day for us all. The service was incredible.
Thank you for helping us plan exactly what we have dreamed of. We already
know we want to go to Tahiti next year.
Thanks again,

Cindy,
I wanted to let you know that Tom and I had an amazing time in Fiji
and Namale was more than we could of ever expected. We will definitely
be going back. Thank you very much, you did an excellent job picking
the perfect resort for us.
It appears from your website that you also specialize in vacations to
Tahiti and Italy / Greece. These would be our choices for vacations
over the next 18 months to two years. We would like to do Greece and
Italy in the same trip (that was probably obvious). Any info that you
could provide regarding the best time of year to go and resort options
would be appreciated.
Also, we both fell in love with diving. I'm not sure what options are
available, but that is definitely something to keep in mind when choosing
resorts/locations.

~ Fiji and New Zealand ~ |
Hello
Melissa,
Magical is the best word to describe our recent vacation to Fiji and New
Zealand. The itinerary was superb. Every activity that Cindy
planned was tailored to my family’s preferences - from our beachfront
bure in Fiji to exploring the North Island of New Zealand. The accommodations
were superb. We enjoyed every minute from swimming twice a day in Fiji
as the sun rose and set to sliding down 50 ft. sand dunes in New Zealand
on our stomachs.
Fiji was very relaxing, peaceful and fun. The best part of Fiji was the
native people. Customer service comes naturally to them because they serve
from the heart. I don’t think they require customer service training.
One of the staff members at Treasure
Island Resort in Fiji actually cried when we left. We felt like family.
My children were thrilled. Every day in New Zealand was a new adventure.
This was the vacation of a lifetime.
Our travel agent Cindy
was also great. She was very responsive to our needs. We really appreciated
all the effort she put into planning our vacation.

Bula
Cindy!!

Where do I start in trying to express my heartfelt thanks ("Vinaka
Vaka Levu x 1000") for all that you did in making the trip of a life
time live up to every expectation I could have ever had for a trip with
my sweet wife of 25 years to paradise. The Fijian saying of "Sanga
na langa" (no worries) was our motto for the entire trip. It was
also "Ri Ri Vinaka" (beautiful)! We had a lesson in Fijian every
morning at breakfast with Vika. What a precious soul. Between her and
Li, her husband and our absolutely incredible chef, we learned quite a
bit of the language, even if we sounded terrible when trying to pronounce
it ourselves! Boy howdy....their use of the letters "g" and
"c" almost sent us over the edge of despair when trying to read
our lessons each day!!
And no matter what any brochure reflects or what video is put together,
there is nothing that can ever capture the true beauty of Wadigi (Wandingi)
or the graciousness of Tracy and Jim, or the loving giving spirit of the
entire staff or the indescribable taste and presentation of the food that
you are bathed in the entire time you are on the island. Robin and I both
cried when we were on our way out to the sea plane to take off. We truly
felt we were leaving family behind and we can't wait to return. And I
truly mean it when I tell you that none of it would've happened had it
not been for all your help, patience and kindness in getting it all together
in such a sweet way. Our travel arrangements, from the plane, to the Tanoe
hotel, to the island and back to Los Angeles, were perfect. The folks
at Air New Zealand were a delight to visit with and the service to and
from Fiji was luxurious.
I am sending along with this short, but sincere, note of appreciation,
just a few of the pictures that we took while on our trip. I will send
you many more as they are developed over the next week. I wish I could
give you a big hug and a kiss for making our dream vacation all that it
was and for making our 25th wedding anniversary as memorable and as loving
as it was the entire time we were there. I so much want to meet you and
visit about our 7 days in heaven on earth. Much love to you from both
Robin and me for blessing us with your expertise and your friendship and
for making our 25th anniversary the single most memorable time spent together
since our wedding night.
As always,
Blessings to you and "Vinaka Vaka Levu x another 1000"

Cindy,
We all arrived home safely and happy last Tuesday. Fiji was wonderful
for us all. The resort was great with everyone always helpful and friendly.
It maybe rained more than we would like, but the wet always gave me a
good excuse to take a nap. I got certified in scuba before I went, so
I had numerous adventures out in the reefs. The bula club worked out well
for my girls, even though the five year old preferred to hang out with
us.
Thank you so much for your advice and help. We hopefully will return again
(we met one family that had gone 8 years in a row!). Please keep me posted

All
was fabulous from the trip. Everything went extremely smoothly from
the travel side of things. Rosie's was perfect, getting us to exactly
where we needed to go exactly when we needed to be there. Matangi
Island was great. The staff there was awesome. I had a little run
in getting off of the dive boat one day and cut up my foot. Luckily,
the staff there was well versed in how to treat it plus one of our fellow
honeymooners was a foot doctor. The long and short of it was that I
was supposed to try to keep my foot dry for a couple of days. But there
was so much to do there that I couldn't stay
off the boats. So the boat driver, George, kept giving me piggy back
rides from the shore to the boat! Their dive instructor, Colin, was
awesome as well. It's not often you get to learn with a former vice
principal of an agriculture school from Denmark. Australia. And the
Fijians at the village on Qamea were so accomodating. Oh yeah, I almost
forgot that there were people from the Travel Channel there at the same
time we were, so I may be able to send you some video of our honeymoon
if the footage they have of us makes the final cut.
Tokoriki
was also awesome, although a little more laid back for us. We enjoyed
pestering the dive staff about trying to find a turtle, but other than
that, we sat by the pool, played a little chess, and Adrienne made some
good friends at the spa. I think that there was only one day there she
didn't get a massage. It will be hard to forget Bula Time as well as
hard to get Isa Lei out our heads. We finished up our honeymoon with
the honeymoon picnic. Stranded on a deserted island was a perfect way
to finish the trip.
Thanks so much for helping us
put this together. It would have been impossible to see as much as we
did with no glitches, no missed connections, and no headaches without
your guidance. Below is the link from some of our pictures. There are
lots of them to sift through, but I thought you might enjoy.

Bula, Bula to you too! Thanks so much for the info. and for attempting
to get me copies of some of Joanne's pictures of Wadigi.
I want you to have a picture of Robin and me so that you at least have
an idea about who you're visiting with. I want to sincerely thank you
again for all your help in getting our trip set up and for being so nice
and fun to deal with. We hope to make it to Hawaii next year with some
friends of ours who have a time share on the Big Island. If we do, I will
make every effort to get over to Maui one day to visit you and Melissa
and the gang. Have a great weekend. Blessings to all of you.
